I love my Shot Scope Pro LX range finder but...

The darned thing doesn't have a magnet to attach it to the cart.

My question is whether anyone has come up with a good way to add some sort of magnet to one of these that they're happy with from a functional perspective?

I'm not horribly concerned with looks, I just want to have it handy and not bouncing around in the front compartment of the cart.

STICKIT Magnetic Rangefinder Strap - well made, functions as intended and comes in several colors/patterns if you’re looking to give your laser some drip. They also offer a towel with a magnetic patch sewn onto one corner that you can snag with a club head instead of bending down to grab it, but I didn’t want to spend $32 for golf towels and just made my own. The rangefinder strap is legit though.

I had the same challenge with my Shot Scope LX+.  I ended up with a Caddie Buddy pouch mount.

It unfolds and clamps on to the cart upright.  It's lightweight, easy to store and can be mounted in many different positions (to protect rangefinder from rain, the windshield is up, etc.).  I've had mine for over two years and love it.
