Good evening spies,

Spent the whole day in bed today due to food poisoning, really not fun in any way but I'm managing with sleep and electrolytes.

Hope you all spent the day with loved ones.

Safe travels to those doing the traveling! Good evening mis amigos! Got in 9 today, wasn’t great, wasn’t poor. Just kinda typical. I did have better wedge play and should get these MG 4s dialed in soon. Back is sore and hips aren’t much better, but this is what happens when you’ve had as many injuries and surgeries as I have had. I hope you all had a good memorial weekend. To me I think of my brothers and sisters who never came back, who don’t get to continue on. G*D bless their souls and their love ones they left behind. Thanks to all who’ve served and signed on the line knowing you may have to make that ultimate sacrifice! I love you brothers and sisters in arms!!!

Good evening spies!  Well,  good late night actually.

Got a solid hour range session,  then Played 18 today,  walked the entire round too using franken-cart v1.0 ! I'm a glutton for punishment I tell ya! 

 

After golf, was the Memorial Day tribute service for the fallen heroes. It was both moving and sombering at the same time. 

Uploading those videos now for the stix test thread

Off to bed now, golf course duties at 0530.  Ugh.

Good evening Spies from Williamsburg, VA after about 7 more hours of driving today.

Arrived safe and sound, and no real issues at all along the way except for some construction zones in all the states I passed through.

Headed out to get some dinner, and hoping to see some of historical America tomorrow before we golf on Thursday.

Had just a very nice day. Enjoyed the 3-Hole Golf Birthday celebration this morning. Not exactly sure, but I believe I was the young whippersnapper of the foursome. 
  It may snow in my part of Texas… The SHE, who would rule all, even gave me kudos for playing golf this morning.  
   We were also fortunate in missing the severe weather and storms that hit up north in @Josh Parker’s and way up north in  @William P‘s part of Texas… Although we could have used the rain. It is looking like we will be chewing our water a little earlier this summer than normal if we don’t get some rain soon. 

Have a relaxing and peaceful evening spies…

We just got some heavy wind today but nothing like the Dallas area or the tornado Temple area got the other day.

We were very fortunate in our area as we have a lot of debris from surrounding areas to clean up but only one tree down on our street.  Some heavy damage done in the DFW area but no fatalities this go round which was good to hear after Saturday's event a little more to the North.

Busy first day back to work after a nice long vacation with the wife and daughter. Unfortunately my daughter is teething so the last couple nights have been long to say the least.

We’ve been through the first few rounds of teething and those worked like a charm during the day. this one kind of snuck up on us and only affects her in the middle of the night unfortunately. We know It’ll pass but it’s tough getting up at 2am for a couple hours when you’re used to sleeping through the night! I guess we are spoiled in that regard!

This is the place to unwind after a long day! Speaking of long days, the spousal unit insisted I get out and golf, so here’s to her and here’s the result.

Very nice that you were able to get your elder cohort out for a mini golf event and breakfast celebration this morning!  I am sure it is a memory he will cherish. 

Hope you get the needed rain but in a gentler manner than most of Texas has been experiencing this year.

Just got back from Denver and two Dr visits. Both very promising for the spousal unit! The general surgeon thinks she got all the cancer, and the plastic surgeon thinks he may be able to put in implants on the 13th. I’m cautiously optimistic as we still need to wait on the cancer DNA and oncologist review. She may or may not have to have radiation or chemotherapy. But good news all around so far.

Good evening my fellow spies…. I played rather well for an old  person today. I will always proudly take a score that is on the south side of 85. However in the T’s & F’s  format had 3 of the F’s, do just that and F’ed me….. Finished out of the money. 
   Tomorrow will be interesting. We are turning loose a rather large gang of our fellow spies upon  the unsuspecting general public in Virginia. There is also the audio/visual golf therapy session known as the Community Call for those in need or willing to help.  
    Have a relaxed and peaceful evening my spies… Tomorrow could very well be epic in the history of MGS.

Good evening Spies on this last night before all the MGS Outing festivities take place.

@Erin B great news on the spousal unit's health, and continued success and good news going forward.

@Swood1994 welcome to the Good Evening thread and hoping that the teething concerns dissipate sooner rather than later, so normal sleep schedules can return.

Spent majority of today just seeing some sites here and came back home just before we had a shower pass through.

Maybe it will soften the conditions at Royal New Kent so the scores will be low and the enjoyment factor very high.

Planning to go to MGS HQ in the morning, so should meet other Spies before we golf later in the afternoon.

Your update is heart warming and sounds very hopeful!!! Praying this is the path forward to recovery and relief! 

If I may, I'd like to submit a piece of advice on the implant process. Please wait. I know it is going to seem unreasonable at first,  but get as close to the finish line before starting something else.

My wife actually went against the implants and I can't say I blame her, but lots of ppl are getting them right away bc they didn't want to have to deal with the tubes twice.. She said the tubes were worse than the mastectomy

It is one of the many hard choices a person has to make, and it's extremely personal. Complications can occur either way, and I'm sure the techniques and procedures have advanced greatly in the last 10 years. Not wanting to bring any negativity to an uplifting moment here, just speaking from a witnessed set of experiences.
