Erin B ... very sorry for the inconvenience.  Unfortunately, these things happen with footwear making, albeit rarely.  Footwear making is a manual process.  Components move through an assembly line and glued and/or stitched together.  In this case, not enough glue was applied between the midsole and outsole.  Knowing full well that a situation like this is inevitable, our customer team prides in solving the issue with a sense of urgency and to the customers satisfaction.  Thank you for the kind words and appreciate the support.  Bob

Any future plans for those of us who have to wear 4E wide shoes....?

Josh, thanks for reaching out.  Our immediate plan is to launch a 2E shoe in October and then measure the success and move to larger sizes in the spring if all goes well.   Thank you!

I may have to give the 2E a shot.  My dang flinstone feet are boxes but with the toebox y'all have a 2E may work.

Good evening Spies!

After a very busy day of walking projects and wrapping up some proposals, I'm home working on some burger patties and plan on throwing them on the smoker and doing something different.

The new business has taken off faster than I had anticipated but I have a goal and exit strategy so I'll gladly take the work.

Well it is evening here. Had a good round today in the small money game. Won the pricey sum of $10 since there was only 6 players. Ended up shooting a 78 off of a 10 index for today. Posted the score and am waiting to see if my index drops for Monday. With our system it changes from day to day. Got 1st tee time for tomorrow on the Par3 for the wife and I if it does not rain. I am playing my regular 56* PW 48* and Scotty Putter. I did that last week and my wedges got better this week in regular play.

That's the hope @BIG STU.. I'm putting 2 kids thru college and the oldest has put in his hours to be a certified master plumber.. Will help him start a business when he's ready! I didn't have the opportunity to go to college so I figure I work hard and get them educated and they can be my retirement plan 😁

Good evening everybody,

Spent a chunk of my morning figuring out the solution to a program I was working on. Turns out, the whole time I was writing in the wrong machine language and just needed to change the file type 🙃 so I backtracked through my changes and fixed the problem.

Range was good to me today, working on being more loose with my hands and arms in my swing. It's coming along. (SM10s are amazing!)

Besides that, a little red beans & rice is in the pot and the andouille is cooking. Hope you all enjoy the rest the your Friday night!

Good evening spies and happy Saturday evening! Played early today. Not a great round, not a horrible one either.
IMG_5978.jpeg.fce8a3d0b1ac32e5884cc31c7dbb2639.jpeg

I’m not upset about the score, our club pro shot a 78. I shot my handicap and I’d like to at least shoot my handicap next weekend for the club championship. It’s 3 grueling days long and the rough is as thick and deep as I’ve ever seen it. Greens are slow which has caused some interesting putting, but they’ll speed them up probably starting Thursday. Tomorrow I’m on a rest day, then Monday I play the VGA at the country club. They’re having their club championship this weekend which means that course will be prime! I’ve never played the white tees there but I am playing the whites on Monday. We always play the tips in the men’s club. It will be different for sure. Hope you all have a wonderful evening!

I could play golf every day and learn something new each time.

Good evening Spies on a day where I spent the majority of it doing office type preparation work for our car clubs upcoming car show next weekend.

Productive and time well spent, as it makes it easier to ensure all is good to go beforehand.

Also managed to walk over to the practice putting green at the course close to the house and practiced putting for a little over an hour.

The green speeds there are usually 11+ - 13 on the Stimpmeter and much faster and truer than the greens on other local courses.

Ideally for me, this keeps me from getting too long with my stroke, and too aggressive with speed and makes the slower greens actually a little easier to putt on.

Tomorrow looks to be more of a working day on the preparations, although I plan to hit the range sometime in the afternoon as well.

Almost forgot to mention to both @Erin B and @Michael.Sandoval33 that the last preseason game between the Niners and Raiders looked like it ended up in a manner where no one received bragging rights.

Haha 100% agreed. The only positive for the Raiders was that they did a decent job against Brock Purdy.

Pretty cool that even though the Niner's played "NFL starting line-up" for a while, the Raiders did not play any projected starters and still tied them.

Honestly hoping that Gardner can lead the Raiders to a better record than those records of recent down years.

You did watch the game though right? Raiders couldn’t do anything offensively until the second and third string was in. They didn’t score their first touchdown until right before the half. But the Niners and Raiders always play each other tough.

Well pretty decent day today. We were first off at 7AM as planned. golf was sorta ok for me. Ended up with an 82 (+10) I hit some good shots that turned out bad as in like airmailing the green. Our greens were not holding. My one bud Big Bear played in the shootout yesterday and said they cut the greens for that. They did not cut them today and they were fuzzy plus they had verdi cut them last week. It was a slugfest to get the ball to the hole. I missed like3 or 4 par opportunities and a couple of birdie opportunities on those crappy greens. I just marked it up to a bad day. Came home took a shower, ate breakfast and watched my services on TV. Did catch like the last 4 holes of the Women's Open then the BMW. Went to the shop and gathered a set of clubs I have sold. Will more than likely go to bed in a few since I have the Spin off small money game at 7:30 in the morning

Good evening Spies on what was a warm and humid Sunday here, with higher temperatures (90's) in the forecast for Monday through Wednesday.

Almost finished all of the documentation/preparation work I need to do today, still have some more printing to do, but that will wait until tomorrow.

Managed to get some range time in late this afternoon, but I didn't spend a long time there due to the heat and humidity.

Busy schedule for me this week may impede on course time, but I believe Wednesday early morning will be my best opportunity to play this week.

Glad to see Keegan Bradley win, thought it was quite cool on Thursday when he was leading, and happy he made it to the end and now plays next week too.

Finish off the Final day of the golf outing today, We had an early tee time of 830 this morning, I arrived and was checking things out and got a nice picture of the course we were playing today.

Everyone had a great time, I shot 77 78 76 with only 3 three putts over the 54 holes, it was great golf Great family and loved reminiscing about the old days when we were growing up.

The family members came in from Columbus Ohio, Baltimore Md, and here in our home town in Pa.

Hope you all have a good night I'm going to have a cold one and kick back and watch some TV.

Here are a couple of photos from this morning and family.

Played this afternoon and it was a frustrating round. I know what I am doing wrong and just need to fix it.  Ha. Shot 77 with 3 birdies and too many bogies.

Good evening everyone. Had a double loop at Arbor today (36 holes) with a high of 98 with a feels like temp of 105. I was beyond exhausted when I finished at 6:30pm. 9+ hours straight in the sun is brutal with high humidity and little to no wind. Paid well enough to make it worth it in the end though. A little Four Roses single barrel is hitting the spot just right as a nightcap. Hope everyone had a great day.
