I'll take either the 49 and wind OR the 31 with wind/rain and give you 6 deg F with 12 wind and a strong chance of snow.

 

I had 6* and 2 feet of snow last winter.  The snow I don't mind, but I don't think you'd like the 1/4" of ice all over your car and the roads.  Nobody is going anywhere tonight!!

I like complaining about 50* and 10 mph wind. That's my speed now.

I've got the 2 way miss with the irons, short irons that is. I think it has to do with setup. I usually hit a draw, with the miss being a pull hook, but I have been having a slight push/straight shot, if I aim middle of the green I pull it right, if I aim left a little it gooses straight or has a little fade. So my setup is slightly off I think. It's nit much just a little.

I've got the two way miss as well - the hook and the Duck hook.

I did get some confirmation the other day that my alignment is just a little off. When I align to where I think I am straight I would hook the crap out of the ball. When I tried to play the hook and align to where I thought I was left, I would hit the ball pretty straight. Now I just have to figure out the correct alignment to go straight while aiming straight.

There's plenty of open tee times today.....all of them! We get spoiled here after a while.

I was looking across to the 8th and 9th and there isn't a golfer/cart human to be seen. Only Sandhill Cranes.

Under 50 degrees is our cold weather cut off.  This entire week our greens will be tarped to protect then from the low temps.

My cutoff is a combo of temperature and wind. I'll play in 45* no wind but no to 50* and 15mph wind. Sun is another variable.

50* is usually my cutoff, but it depends on sun being out and if it's windy or not. I can get into the 40's if it's sunny and no wind. It was 1* this morning when I rolled to work, not looking like I'll get a chance to play for a couple weeks. These new clubs(when they get here) will have to wait.

It's not the Temperature that's a problem it's the 16 mph sustained wind and no sun.

Yep!  Sounds just like Jan/Feb two years ago when I was in St. Augustine, Orlando, and Tampa.  Cold, wet and windy.  I guess I can only assume that winter sucks in Florida!     That's why I'm headed to Palm Springs this year.

Started off 2018 on fire shot a 66. Hit 11 fairways, 15 greens and had 26 putts. I had 7 birdies and a bogey. It was one of those days everything just worked.

Next week it's suppose to be in the 50 & even maybe 60 degree range!  I haven't gone a week without golf since noah built the ark so I'll be drooling by then.

It's really depressing to read about you guys still playing while I sit in single-digit temperatures. I would play in 45 and wind right if mother nature would provide.
