What's most balls you found playing 18 holes?

Probably a dozen? I don't generally look very hard for them tho and usually only use them for net practice.

Probably 2 doz but I wasn’t even looking for them. My partner happened to notice a gully over a green in late November that was filled with balls. The foliage was gone so it was easy pickings, the bulk of the year they would have been unreachable. We just grabbed a few shirt fulls of what looked to be the best condition ones and moved on.

So many I just stopped.  Not only that, I became a scrounge-ball snob for a short time and only kept higher end balls.  I went back to taking all of them for use at a local golf course driving range that uses any ball, not just range balls.

30. The city mowed a ditch along the side of a road above a long fairway. Metric ton of balls rolled back into the fairway.

There's a couple of honey holes I know of on the few typical courses I play that I could probably haul out balls by the near bucket full if I wanted. But, id say ones that were actually worth keeping would be about 24-36 or so, as I was following a group of 8 that had to be 50+ in age.

And I got to reuse the Titleist & Callaway boxes the balls came to the course in too, as they had to burning thru a dozen every 3 holes based on the boxes I found in the trash cans at damn near ever tee box.

I take my wife with me and  drop her off on the right side of the fairway where most ppl slice usually towards wooded area. by the time I get done the hole she's in the cart waiting for the next hole she loves finding balls just this year probly found over 400 balls I have about 4 dozen prov1 and pro1x same with tp5 was thinking bout selling on Facebook market place starting to get overrun with balls lol.

I put them in a gallon bag and take about 10 with me when I play.  I use those as my warmup instead of a bucket. I play a imaginary par 5 in my head. Driver wood iron wedge and a chip. Then whatever the first tee shot is I do that with the remaining balls. Then I chip and putt till my tee time. Saves 5 to 10 bucks a round.

Personally a dozen or so.  We were playing thru a group on a par 3 and they were in the creek bed just throwing out golfballs by the handfuls. We looked back to thank them when we finished the hole and there were hundreds. Looked like the driving range chipping target.

Probably a few dozen in one round. The golf course that I use to play regularly a few years ago has three holes that tee off by the club house, 1, 7, and 10. Late in the day there will be some people who just stand on the tee box and launch balls with driver as the sun sets. I was usually the first one off the following morning and those three fairways would be riddled with balls that I would just throw in the bag and use at the driving range some other time.

In April my wife found 71 balls while I played. I usually don't search for lost balls. IF, though, I happen to run across a few while I'm looking for mine, I will pick them up.

I've found probably a dozen before fishing out a creek at one of my courses, but I played with a buddy one time that lost his ball in a large bush on a par 3 course several years ago that untucked his shirt, crawled into the bush, and came out with around 50 in his shirt like a kangaroo pouch. Never seen anything like it. We were both working at a brewery at the time and put them all in a rack and threw them in the commercial dishwasher. Good as new!
