Well, I've been subscribing to a youtube instructor for kind of awhile now and really I think that most of us could find some benefit in his videos.

- Mark's videos range from club reviews and side-by-side comparisons (interesting, although not particularly informative) to very pertinent and relatable weekly fixes and other instructions. There have been more than a few of his lessons that have broken down issues and provided simple and very effective drills for a wide variety of issues that we all fall victim to. If you want to really understand what's happening in your swing and what's behind the corrections, Mark's videos are an excellent resource. I highly recommend getting lost in his hundreds of videos.

 

As a side note, if you'd also like an even more scientific look at the clubs and swings and the physics behind what's really going on, I would also recommend

- There are much (MUCH!) fewer of these videos, but they are very well thought out and presented.

 

One more side note, Mark Crossfield is unabashedly a Mizuno guy, as I'm sure you'll notice from the videos. The nice thing is that he is smart enough to be aware of his bias and continue to provide meaningful analysis of every club he hits regardless of manufacturer. If he's going to be bias toward something, he explains it openly.

Great post. Just watched the "over the top" video and it explained a lot. I've been fighting a swing the last couple times out that was putting me almost in a reverse tilt position. After watching that video I now know why I was getting into that position.

What do you mean??? It was a beautiful fall day here (45 and not much wind). Played 18 today and planning on 18 tomorrow as well. Should be nice through Sat and then the crap shoot begins.

Too much class! I'm trying to finally graduate college this year. The worst factor though, is that my club shut the course down a couple weeks ago, so I would have to go back to paying again. As much as I hate how early they closed, the greens were beat up.

Oh I meant "ZING" as a joke. Unfortunately that's just not something that translates very well in this medium.

 

Either way, I haven't been able to golf for a few weeks because of school and traveling (my poor car...). It's particularly torturous now that I picked up my Mizunos from the clubmaker after having the KBS shafts swapped in yesterday. Can't wait for Saturday!

The 2 you mentioned are 2 of my favorites on youtube. Easy to understand and very knowledgeable of the golf swing. Great choices.

Im a big fan of Mark Crossfield. I first discovered him on Ebay due to his Mizuno reviews but his golf tips in general are quite good. His reviews are his opinion and in many instances you could question just how scientific they are but some of his videos where he uses Trackman to prove his point are quite interesting.
