Heads Up... Another scammer report

For those of you that buy and sell online on golf websites, if you get an offer to buy something from Kyle Kressler of Ithaca, NY.  DO NOT BUY IT.  He's scammed at least 4 people out of money on WRX, and he's a PGA Pro at a course there.  He's running an elaborate scam and using accounts he's had since 07' and 09' respectively.  And he's trying to blame it all on his brother, yet everything points back at him, including using his PGA of America email as one of his paypal addresses.  Just a friendly heads up.

wow kinda interesting reading through that whole mess. I mean yea watch out as it could be a possible scammer, could also be a hacker ruining someones life. Just interesting see everyone start to vilafy him without concrete proof. All you really need to do if apply to paypal to get the funds reversed because of not recieving the gear. Kinda reminds me of the mix up with the boston bombers where people were named that were not responsable and it ruined there lifes.

 

Again not defending him or meaning to upset anyone, just obseving how its unfolding so far

He said he's been using his PGA email, and it's been used as a paypal addy in some of the ads. Said he didn't know, yet he receives and sends emails from that email addy.

 

Glad one of those scammed filed a police report. Hopefully the rest follow suit as well as a report with ic3. If it's not him, he'll be exhonorated. Either way, one person has got his money back (the one that filed a police report coincidentally). Doesn't make the case go away though, because if you rob a bank and take the money back it doesn't erase the crime.

yea I am glad one has his money back already and hope the rest do as well. Still could have been hacked and duplicated his email though, I just didnt really like people were saying they were calling his work and everything associated with him, thats the kind of stuff thats hard to get passed if he turns out to be innocent. At any rate, I hope whoever was responsable, whether it be him or someone else, and that everyone gets there money back.

You should go check that thread out now . It's been locked, unlocked because he refunded with rubber e- cheques as well as confirmed the PGA pro and scammer are one and the same, and locked again.

Thanks for the heads up Rookie.  I wonder what course he's at in Ithaca.  I made to the finals of the city championship there in '78.

Searching his name, the course comes up. He's screwed though. People have started filing cases with the police as well as victims he's defrauded on eBay. There's 28,000 members of the PGA. Shame only. 27,999 are trying to grow the game and be stewards. He'll lose his affiliation with the PGA. This is on the level with GatorMan
