Matt Kuchar

How about Matt Kuchar leading the PGA after two days. He may not win it, but it is great to see new faces leading major tournaments. I wish him well.

I like Kuchar. Every interview I see of him he just looks like he is having a ton of fun.

 

The first I every heard of him was in Feinstein's book. I think it was The Majors, and Feinstein was really talking bad about Kuchar's dad, who used to caddy for Matt in his early days and was a little overzealous during the 1998 Masters and US Open. Kuchar was low amateur at both tournaments.

As a fellow 1-planer, and since I get some lessons from his instructors, I like to see him do well. Wish he could close a bit better....but he's had a very good year in spite of not winning.
