timhowe 8
HI Just came back from a golf week in Portugal where I had the worst game of my life. I am a 16 handicap and play to around that quite often but this round in Portugal was the round from hell. Played at Victoria course Vilamoura. I was 3 of the tee on the first 14 holes and ended up with 7 stableford points. Just kept hitting the ball straight left into the rubbish. (one time into an apartment swimming pool) I did enjoy the 19th and all the ribbing I got but that is golf and why we all love it so much.
revkev 22,565
I was afraid you were going to ask about our worst round ever and I'd have to answer, too many to recall, most of them in the past three years. I did break 50 for the first time in Spain, so at least I have that going for me. Thanks for sharing. Also auditions for the 14th spot in the bag. Current possibilities are a Ping 26 degree hybrid - duplicates the 9 wood or 5 iron but would be used almost exclusively for chipping or Tour Exotics 3 wood simply because you can carry 14 clubs and I might occasionally hit it in certain unusual wind conditions once every four or five rounds. Charli 913
Yeah nothing worse then having a round like that. I'm all for having bad days I get it's going to happen. But I get mad when I haven't a clue how to fix it. Normally I have an idea and get out of my slumps rather quickly. But there was one time....... chills up the spine
Big money 1,950
I've had so many that I can't really recall which was the worst of them. Will say my worst start was cold topping 4 consecutive balls in a pond in front of the first tee box. Flipper554 881
Golf will do that to you. One day you have it the next day you wonder where it went. When I have one of those rounds I can't wait to play again to prove to myself that I know how to play. 2 Quote Driver: Cobra F8 Tour length 3W: Cobra King F7 3/4 Wood 5W: Cobra King F7 5/6 Wood Hybrid 3/4: Cobra F7 20.5* Irons: 5 to PW Taylormade P790 A Wedge: 48* Vokey SM6 F grind S Wedge: 54* Vokey SM6 M grind L Wedge: 58* Vokey SM6 M grind Putter: Rife Two Bar Hybrid 35" P2 Aware Tour grip Ball: Taylormade TP 5X Bag: Hot Z Canadian flag 🇨🇦

I've had a boatload of worst rounds of my life so hang in there! I had a buddy one time who was playing a par 3 hole down at Kinderlou in Valdosta, Ga. This is a no lie. He hooked his tee shot 150 yards left over some trees onto the roof of a Ga State Patrol cars roof! The car was parked in the troopers driveway across the road from the course. Crappy rounds/things happen so shake it off and get back after it Oh the trooper never came out to check his patrol car out. He must of been sleeping from night shift duty.. 1 Quote Callaway Epic Flash 10.5 Driver Callaway MAVRIK MAX 3 - wood Callaway Big Bertha 2019 4 & 5 hybrid Tommy Armour 845 MAX 6 - GW Irons Cleveland CBX 2 54 Degree SW Cleveland CBX Full-Face Wedge 58 degree Putters: Odyssey Stroke Lab Black Big Seven Arm Lock Putter Odyssey Triple Track 2-Ball Putter Odyssey Triple Track 10 Putter Cleveland Huntington Beach SOFT Premier 10.5C Putter Utility club: Square Strike Wedge 45 degree aka pocket picker
mooremikea 448
I think we can all relate. Last summer I had my low score and high score of the year on the same weekend. 74 on Saturday and 91 on Sunday. Don't know how this is even possible!!! Charli 913
It is amazing how it can change from one day to the next. You can be unstoppable in the morning and forget how to play the afternoon round
