Shafts PX vs PX LZ

Hey guys,

 

A friend is offering me a set of TM P770 with PX LZ 6.0 shafts

I play the normal PX 5.5 shafts.

I was wondering... what difference can I expect between the 2 models? Obviously ignoring the fact that 5.5 is softer than 6.0

Is it a difference in profile? Feel? Launch?
I feel my PX 5.5 are already launching high enough... going higher than those would be counterproductive.

I hate Px shafts but love Px LZ.

 

Even though the LZs you're getting are stiffer, they are likely going to feel a bit better due to the loading zone. Flex for flex the LZs will launch a little more, but with a slight bump in stiffness it might be a wash. Maybe a few rpms more spin, too

Jlukes pretty much nailed it. I went thru a fitting last year and the fitter had me hit px 5.5 and px lz6.0. The lz didn't feel like a 6.0 because of the design and the ball launched higher and had a higher peak height for me. I've trird the lz a few times in different heads and I prefer the feel of the non lz shafts
