I believe the original 2019 Maxfli Tours had the CG mark as well. As someone who Check-Go-Pros all of my balls, this would save me some time!

I'm intrigued by the Tour X. I have lots of Snells at the moment but they are sold out for the foreseeable future and I have a hunch I'll need to place at least one more golf ball order this season. Love that the Maxflis come in yellow, and the price is hard to beat.

I'm a MTB-X player also and still have a doz left. I stopped by DSG and bought a doz of the Tour X in white as a back-up. Hopefully Snell inventory picks up since I generally get the 5 doz box.

My question with any ball is how consistent is it from ball-to-ball? As I’ve mentioned before in other threads, I switched from TM TP5X because of the Ball Test showing inconsistencies. When balls are mass produced for multiple “ball companies”, the companies aren’t overseeing each step, so I just don’t see the reason to spend $35 if I’m getting balls here-and-there that are out of round, or have layer issues, etc. If these new ones are up near the top of the ratings again, I’ll give them a look, but it’s going to be hard to stop playing Titleist….

Ive been playing them for the past year, have gone through several dozens of them and I find them to be pretty consistent from ball to ball.  I havent gone so far as to weigh them or cut them in half but just playing them, Im yet to really put one in play that was a dud or does anything unusual.

Sounds like my experience with the TP5X… I didn’t have a problem with any from a visual standpoint, they all seemed good for years, it’s just now I have doubt if one were to be going offline whether it’s the ball, or my swing. I like the idea of the way these are marked for driver/teeing off!

I’ve been playing the Titleist Tour Speed and just tried the new Maxfli Tour. I find the two quite similar and with the deal on Maxfli right now they are $10 a dozen less that the Titleist.   I’m pretty Titleist loyal due to their high quality control but with Maxfli having good results in the ball test I think I have found my new gamer. Now if the MGS crew find them super poor quality I would revert.

I like the Titleist Tour Speed okay, but like the Maxfli Tour CG much better.

A pro friend of mine who is on TM Staff gave me a sleeve when they first came out. Now this was pre accident for me but I shot one of my best rounds in recent memory at crow Creek shot 70 ( -2) with one. Went to play the ball the next day and on the second hole it took a funky dive off a 7 iron. Looked and the ball was cracked. I have never had that happen with modern balls and I was not that hard of a hitter even then. I lost all confidence with the TM balls after that. I have had Srixons and Vice balls I have played like 54 holes with and no cracking. In fact some of those balls are yet in my shag bag. But then again I have won so many Srixons at the course I have like 6 dozen in the car. Also the other day when I sold off some equipment I found 2 dozen Vice that were used but I got them for a song like $5 a dozen plus a dozen used Snells. So I am not in the market for any balls.
