Popular Post rkj427
Good morning Spies on a frosty Sunday morning here in the Motor City. Pretty sure that any early tee times will be delayed, but I am scheduled for an early afternoon round, and it should be about 50 degrees F and sunny so should be fine to play. Managed to make it to the range yesterday, just to keep swing in check, and hoping that it also means todays round will be at least acceptable. Course today is shorter, with many holes requiring an iron or a club less than driver off the tee, and that will allow me to work on that aspect of my game while playing. Wondering if Scottie will hold on at the RBC or if one of those behind him may play a great round and catch him? Also, will Korda be able to come from behind during the finish of the LPGA event to claim another title? Hope your day is the best that it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans. Popular Post Wheelieb
Morning All, With the temps being in the upper 50’s and calling for rain, looks like my first round with the SQAIRZ won’t be today. Popular Post Rob Person
Sunday fun day!? Not! It began as such. Whilst sipping on a nice zero sugar adult beverage last night, a big brown van pulled up. 2 people exited, walked to the back, and I heard alot of commotion. I thanked them and began to inspect the labels, as I don't recall ordering what seemed half of the amazon warehouse that was now sitting on my parking spot. I got the lady boss to exit the porch and just stared at her, hands agape, expressing a crooked smile that carried my perplexing thoughts across to her. Popular Post ILMgolfnut
Good morning Spies! Checking in from the Charlotte airport en route to Detroit. Golf note: Shared the flight from ILM to CLT with the Miami women's golf team, which completed play in the ACC women's championships in Wilmington yesterday by failing to qualify for match play. Why am I not surprised that Scottie is in position to win AGAIN???? Alarm went off at 5:15 am; I don't do 5:15. Sometimes don't do 9:15. I've always thought my optimal work hours would be like 11 am to 7 pm. But none of my employers have ever agreed. Anyway, GF got up and made me a quick breakfast while I was pulling everything together for departure. Then she went back to bed. I promise if this seat on the concourse reclined, I'd be out like a light. Too much bumpy air to sleep on the flight this morning though. Also notified that Zappos is sending my new FootJoys. Can't wait to try them. Having to change spikes will be an adjustment though; haven't done that in 25 years or so. @Rob Person speaking of the arrival of numerous mystery packages. GF is beginning to recreate the pile of empty cardboard in the garage that I took to the landfill a few weeks back. Hasn't overflowed into my sim setup, yet. But I will have to go out there upon my return from Detroit and dispose of those boxes. Today was supposed to be my first 18 hole round post surgery but I don't want to go play in the rain. I'll just have to put some golf on the TV and look at my Ghost Golf Bag sitting in the corner. I don't blame you for not wanting to play in the rain for your first round back. Hopefully you are able to get a round in soon. sirchunksalot, Rob Person, rkj427 and 7 others 10 Quote TSi3 10° w/ Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black 65g TS2 15° 3W w/ Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 6.0 70g 818 H1 21° Hybrid w/ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Blue 70g MP-18 MMC 2 iron w/ KBS Tour C-Taper S 120g JPX 921 HM 5-GW w/ Project X LZ 5.5 115g JB Forged 54° & 58° w/ Project X LZ 6.0 120g EV5.3 Black
