Popular Post ILMgolfnut
Good evening Spies! Bumpy flights to Detroit today with a slam-bang landing at DTW, but no harm done and got to the hotel. On the plus side, for the first time in my flying career dating back 45 years, my luggage was already on the carousel when I got there. Kudos to the DTW luggage handlers. My hotel has a golf sim bar in the basement, called Five Iron Golf. It's $50 per hour during the week, more on weekends. Don't think I'll be venturing down there this week; my schedule is gonna be work-eat-sleep until I go back to the airport Wednesday afternoon. Ho hum, Nelly wins again, Scottie is in position to do so although I don't think they'll finish before sundown. Nelly made it slightly interesting by rinsing one on 15 but still won by 2 shots. Popular Post ParFore74x
Good Monday morning everyone. This week is yet another 3 game week for my daughter’s high school team. I think that it’s wearing me out more than her. Today is an early one too with kickoff at 4:15 and it’s on the road. Need to leave work a little early to make that happen for me. Took the wife and daughter out for 9 holes yesterday and they both did ok. I saw them both making some gains and improving their ball striking. I actually heard my daughter admit that it was harder than it looks which made me laugh. Have a great day everyone. Popular Post ejgaudette
Good morning all! Had a great weekend with my brother-in-law coming to visit Friday into Sunday morning. We got some yard work done and just spent countless hours outside which is always the best. Also got my first round of golf in. A steady 10 to 15 mph wind with gusts up to 30 made for a rough re-introduction, but hit some good shots and made a birdie to kick off the year. Bruins also got the win in a big way, looking forward to the game tonight, also that Avalanche and Jets game last night was insane. @Josh Parker feel better soon Have a great Monday everyone! Popular Post Preeway
Good morning everyone. Great weekend looping out at Arbor. Body is a little sore after back to back days hoofing a total of 12-15 miles around the course but it was expected being the first loops of the year. On an interesting note, I did find an interesting golf ball. There has to be thousands of lost balls around the course but this one stood out. It definitely been lost lost at least one season if not several. There was no getting it clean no matter how hard I tried. Looks like some from the podcast or main site made a trip to Arbor Links in the not so distant past. Or maybe just a fan of the podcast?
