How do you feel they compare to the Takomo irons (if anyone had a chance to compare) ?

I'm looking at the 101T's but from what I'm reading I may need to look into the Titleist irons.

I haven’t had the chance to play Takomo irons, but I’ve heard good things from those that have. Speaking on the T150 and T200 lines, they are worth the price of admission. You can’t really go wrong with any of them, so it probably boils down to budget.

Sounds like a great day and love the bird dog analogy.

Gonna to check out the T350’s and T200’s for my next iron purchase. Top of the list for me.

The T350 irons have been  real good  for me as I've accomplished a couple things I've never done before.

1. Shoot three consecutive rounds in the 70's (74, 78, 76)
2. Shoot my age (73)

I'm so fortunate to have had the opportunity to test these beauties and find out just how special they are. Truly remarkable and fun irons to play.

Yesterday at the range I didn’t work on anything specific, just trying to get some feel and get some swings in. After watching the Titleist short video on Feel, it was validating…

I did struggle with one club…the U505. As long and wide as it is, I struggled to find the center of the face. I had great success with it last year but it’s amusing to me that I can hit the T100 4 iron so well and then migrate to this more forgiving iron and struggle.

It’s probably counterintuitive, but the smaller the club face, the better I hit it. More specifically, I seem to find the center easier when there is less room for error.

I hear ya!  I have the U510 (3) and loved it so much I got a 4 as well as I figured it would help…I hit my TM Tour Preferred CB 4 iron better.  So the U510 4 has been sitting in the rack for a bit now.

That video really makes me want to get out and hit some balls…and go find some Titleist clubs!

On paper is sounds silly but I can’t explain it. I’ve tried setting up at the toe, the heel and the center and I still have difficulty. Best way to fix I suppose is to just play and practice more often

I went to the T-350’s about +\- 2 months ago. About a month ago I shot back to back sub 80 rounds for the first time in a very long time and only the second time in my life. They have been exacting a heavy price on my golf game  since those two rounds.. Believe they are in cahoots with the 2.0 Edison’s to remind me of my station in life for when the wife person is not around  to do so.. Congrats again for shooting your age.

... I just went through the same thing with the Qi10 Max. Should be more forgiving by a pretty large margin. MUCH bigger head than my Stealth2 HD but I struggled to find the center of the face. Other than the spaceship size and round shape that the golf snob in my subconscious evidently scoffed at the suggestion I should be playing it even though Nelly Korda has no problem using one, there is no reason I should have played so poorly with it. While I can't play a club that looks bad to my eye at address, I can play anything that looks less than ideal if it performs. Moving to the smaller and pear shaped profile of the standard Qi10 was night and day. Not just better, but the best I have played. Like you, I just can't explain it. 

... I am happy to spend your money and it sounds like the T200 4 iron would be ideal for you. Still has the look, profile and size you like at address but noticeably more forgiving than the T100 and a little longer as an added bonus. There is a reason Titleist offers this iron with a hybrid shaft build as many on tour have it in their bag and really designed for a player just like you. Personally I would match shafts with my irons for $200 instead of paying the $269 for a hybrid shaft, although there are a ton of no uncharge options. Being that you can hit the T100 better than the U505 and remembering your video hitting your 4 iron, I imagine matching your T100 shafts with a T200 4 iron would be money of you.

It certainly would make more sense…I don’t want to bag the U505, I want to be patient with it because I know I *can hit it.  

If this becomes a confidence issue, the T200 matching my current setup will be in the mix…I’d also consider a T150 3 iron since I’ve had success with the T100 long irons.

Maybe there will be some moving & shaking this season

Yea, Will Zalatoris put the T350 4 iron in his bag along with the T150 irons but it is such a large head with considerably more offset then the rest of the T Series irons, I am a little surprised he made that move. It is much closer to the U505 than the T200 but clearly Zalatoris did a ton of testing and it obviously works for him. The nice thing about the T200 4 iron and I imagine why so many Pro's are playing it, I doubt you would notice and difference at address compared to your T100 5 iron.

Fortunately, the local shop where I worked in college is run by some great guys who maintain a strong inventory of demo clubs.  I’m keeping what you’re saying in mind before pulling any triggers.

I’m in the market for a new set of irons this year and very eager to hit the T-Series.   I’d love to slip into a T200/T150 combo set… but definitely going to take swings with the 350’s as well. Im never opposed to more forgiveness!!

Good choices…and one thing you may realize as others have along the way, is that they blend REALLY well.  Titleist engineered this lineup quite well.

Thanks! Yea the T- Series irons are the real deal. I hit the T200 irons and they were sweet! With that said the T350’s are perfect for my game . Let us know how it goes.
