Building a SkyTrak+ Studio garage setup

Is the enclosure mounted to the ground in anyway? Does it slide or reposition at all? Or is there enough give on the screen to prevent that? I understand that you can't swing driver but Kirke is probably strong enough now to give it a good test.

Really impressive build. Would love to be able to do this in my garage. How high is your ceiling? Mine I think is 8.5 or 9 feet. My garage door opener is right in the middle of the garage so trying to swing the longer clubs could be problematic.

Snoopy79,

There are options. I ended up doing a side mount garage door opener, then modified my trusses to create a path for my follow through.  Over engineered the truss modification of course. 😊

My ceilings are only 8.5 feet.

@SRI1982 I saw the side mount garage door opener on a youtube video I watched the other day. Will look that up to see what's involved, if for no other reason than to get it out of the way. I gotta say that your work on the celiing for your follow through is might impressive! We have an attic space above the garage that stores a lot of our decorations and stuff. So probably only going to be able to hit short irons in the garage

My door opener is right in the middle as well, but I'm able to set up underneath it and don't have any issues swinging any club.

@MattF 🤔 How high are your ceilings? Btw you’re setup is almost exactly what I envisioned in my minds eye for my garage

10' and if yours is 9' I can't see you having an issue at all, even with driver...unless you're 7' tall. But get out there and test it with the driver in slow mo and see if you even come close.
