Supposed to get near 60 tomorrow. Gonna play at Jacoby in Laramie WY. This is where the University of Wyoming plays. It’s one of my favorite courses and I’m not going to freeze!!!

I was only a small part of it, there was also a junior tournament yesterday and today.  I have never seen the Newport News parking lot that full.

I went to the range instead of playing, I felt like I needed to leave with them hitting there as well. It’s going to be a wet and chilly one for them today.

But they have the ability to understand how wind affects them where as I do not other than knowing I need to hit more club into the wind

Survived the trip home from Special Couples Day…. The conversation with the Sanity Slaying  Sorceress on the way home had me almost believing that an eternity of nothingness might not be such  a bad deal… More of the disturbing details later.

Played Jacoby and had a tale of two 9s. First 9 started out ok, then a couple double bogeys. Ugh, then the second 9 was much much better. All in all a good day! Good evening!

Good evening spies!

Spent most of the day in the ER with my Fiancé. Her feet have been really swollen the past few days off and on, and we couldn't get a hold of her primary so it was time. Turns out to be thyroid issues and slight dehydration due to the rapid heatwave. Thankfully, nothing major but well worth the time spent there. 

The heat has me also waiting to get a tee time but hopefully within the next couple of days it will be a go.

Thank you @Northern Monkey and @Rob Person she seems to be in better spirits today knowing what it is and some guidance to keep it in check. Just thankful it wasn't something worse of course. Hope you guys are well.

Today at work was definitely a Monday, seemed like anything that could go wrong went wrong.  But, was able to go out to dinner with a few buddies, so at least it ended well!

The spousal unit had her first oncologist appointment. Dr was awesome! She studied in the Bronx where the spousal unit was born. The day was slow other than that. Except the wind.

The wind was fast. Have a great evening!

YO,Yo,yo… @Erin B.. Glad that the female adult supervisory authority of the family is happy with her medical team.. Hoping for a quick treatment and healing timeframe. 
 In some just mundane and boring news… To try and stay somewhat golf connected during my forced time on the IR, I finally got the Microfiber Club Scrubber and gave it a try out. Works wonderfully on dirty clubs and balls. Doesn’t take up much space on the bag or cart. Uses very little water. Still big enough to handle a driver’s head. I will still carry a towel to wipe my face and body with and to wave in surrender as needed. I will also use a towel as a drying aid. The tell all test will be to see how it does when the Texas heat kicks in and how well it retains water. The test ran during a 90° day found the towel drying out and the Club Scrubber did not. This is easier for me to use than manipulating the Sauce towel. Lazily I will be able to leave the Sauce towel as a primary or supplemental cooler and not have to worry about changing it around for its various functions. Again, the Sauce towel is very easy to use for those not dealing with manual dexterity issues as yours truly does… Good night and may dreams of golf fill your head.

@StrokerAce we fell into some box seats at the Colorado Eagles first round, game 1 game! The son unit got em for us!!!

Good evening MGS troops! Getting ready for the NFL draft. Didn’t play today but got some work done, then emptied my bag of all the golf balls I’ve found in the last two weeks. I have a ton of balls, may not ever have to buy anymore again. Lots of Pro V1s. I leave the crappy ones on the course. I just ordered some OnCore Vero X1s with the pink bow and the F cancer logo. Gonna try to play tomorrow but first things first…the NFL draft and then the son’s theater play. Good evening!

I walked into my local store with a Tupperware full of old balls…they sell some older ones.  The guy behind the counter almost panicked thinking he was going to have to go through them all and sort them to give me a credit.

Told him just give me a couple dollars off and we’d be good…he was quite relieved!

We don’t have a store like that here. I see a lot of people sell them from their houses on golf courses. I don’t live on a course unfortunately.

I don’t either, just have spent too much time in the trees looking for my own ball…unfortunately I’m better at finding other people’s!

I have spent my fair share of time in the fescue and trees as well!
