I almost lost my mind today on a worker at the range.  Mid swing he adjusted this rope they use to “do not go over” I caught my damn club on it.  Dude could have caused some serious injury just because I was about 2” in front of where he wanted me to be, then proceeded to make a ton of noise and then hop in the ball cart and drive about 3-5 yards in front of the people hitting.  I don’t want to get myself in trouble but that guy almost heard a few ear fulls from me today.  I really can’t stand people sometimes.

Forgot to mention, before my guy started messing with me at the range, I figured out that I was way too close to the ball on my full wedge shots.  Moved back quite a bit, freed up some room to actually swing the club, feels quite awkward, but I’m back to getting full distance out of a full wedge shot and a lot flatter trajectory.  Strange game.

Hi and happy Friday spies! Playing this weekend, even with a broken wing…. Just gonna take some Motrin and get the swelling to go down. Yes, elbow has acted up again @Preeway @cksurfdude. I blame Texas heat! anyway gonna play cause the weather, she’s a-changin. I also got sucked back in to the Fitting/Scam thing, again…   I am trying to see how fittings are scams and just can’t. They’ve helped me a lot. Anywho hope you all had a great day!!!

The past two weeks have been incredibly busy for me, so I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving weekend here in the Great White North. I need that extra day to recharge! I have a round planned for next weekend, and after that, I’ll be shutting it down for the winter.

Hope the elbow isn’t serious. I remember how much it hampered your swing back in July. I have a round scheduled for tomorrow morning and eager to put my new Phantom 11.5 to the test. Going to put together my Phantom vs. Phantom thread tonight and get it posted.

You got one?!? I kept mine! I put an Xstiff shaft in it and it changed the club! Also changed the swing weight closer to D3. I’m also crushing the BRNR with the TaylorMade shaft. Go figure!!! Put the Xstiff shaft back in the TD and low and behold Bang Bang!!!

ignore the stupid approach shot, hit a damned tree. I don’t know how this happened

We got really lucky with weather and had cloudy days all three days and barely managed to avoid rain. Temps never really got above high 70s. A lot of days in July are in the 90s, occasionally in the 100s, with humidity bad enough to make you start sweating opening your car door. But those storm fronts we experienced can provide a nice extended break from the punishing heat.

I sweat standing still around here.  It was low 90's when @Erin B was down and it felt like the A/C had been turned on.  haha

Have a round set up for Monday morning. It is mostly par 3’s… I typically do not like these kids of courses, but it is going to stress my iron and wedge game.  Perfect for identifying weak points in it.  I’m leaving the driver at home, I’ll use the 2 hybrid maybe once, and the 2 iron 2-3 times, but the rest is going to be mid to short irons.  A bunch of 90-120 yard holes that are really going to test my nerve.  I did figure out why my full wedges were so dang terrible, I was leaving the face wide open. @cnosil after watching Dan’s video about letting the pitch shots release the toe a little more I’m trying to entrain that.  Not sure why I was holding the release off on all of my clubs, I’m not trying to be that type of fader.

I’ve gone down a very deep rabbit hole… someone please talk me out of making a bad choice… I mean how much different are they than the 620mb’s?  Found a brand new set…

Wrong group to convince you to not purchase them. Could be upend the AMP Cell Pro as your favorite set of cobras....

First off.... they are going to be completely different than the 620mb's.  You will need to purchase in order to test them against eachother.

Great to see she is able to be back with the team even if it is not on skates, being there is a lot of the desire to be part of the team, everything else is just details.

Good evening Spies, @Shankster when is the expected delivery date and timing of the first round?  

Here we spent the better part of today at Stahl's Auto Museum for their annual Halloween Open House for Kids.

Will post a few pictures here, and may share a link to all of them in the Random Thread topic, still waiting for some additional photos from other people to be sent to me.

Had great weather here, and a larger turn-out of kids than in past years too. The museum is unique, as it is a private collection of musical items, signs, jukeboxes, slot machines, and automobiles, as well as some movie memorabilia.

My friend Tom and SWMBO, in and out of costume. He is a "car guy" friend, does not golf. 

My son and his family.

SWMBO's son, his oldest daughter and her oldest granddaughter of 5, and 3rd oldest great grand out of 3 with another "incoming" shortly.

This is an awesome event that Stahl's puts on, and something that we look forward to volunteering at each year.

Anyone with kids or grandkids knows how special Halloween is to the young people.
