"New" Rules of Golf?

Hi Kev! Played my usual round today in 3 hours. I took a couple days off to let my back heal, and today swung within myself. Shot 92 in a 2+ club wind. Played by the rules. Lost 2 tee shots, so re-teed for my third shots. On the first hole, a walker made about an 8, I waited for 5-7 minutes in my cart. He never looked back, never invited me to play thru. I went around him, played the open holes out of order. Lots of singles walking, none let anybody thru. Might reflect on their ability.

Or their lack of knowledge about golf etiquette or the course's unwillingness to pair people up. Glad the back is better. We will have to hit it soon.

#4 : I'd be ok making divots in the fairway 'ground under repair' and allowing a drop...you shouldn't be penalized for hitting a fairway

#5 and I think many already do this unless in a tournament.....we never putt out 1-2 footers
