gkatshoots69
Just made the switch from Callaway Tour ix to Pro-V1. I can't believe I did it, I'm a Callaway nut throughout my bag but the ProV just performs better for me and they don't tear up as easily after a good wedge shot. I can stretch my $50/doz. a few extra rounds now. Smilesy
Z Star for me at the moment. I've just bought 3 dozen so won't be changing any time soon. They are quite a bit cheaper over here in Australia than some of the other premium balls, eg Pro V1 I love the feel off the putter, apart from that there really isn't much to differentiate them from the other premium balls out there. Justin66
I have tried the Nike one, Nike tour one d, Nike mojo, titlest nxt extreme, Nxt tour and now I play Titlest Pro v-1 lol I like the One Tour D and the Penta, but won't spend the $$$ for them. I REALLY like Boz's Pinkies... definitely going to try and score some of them. Until then, I don't mind playing TP Red LDPs (similar to the Penta in my opinion), One Black and Platinums, or the B330 series. I get the refurbished ones. I go with Links Choice- I've had less than 1% of all the balls I've bought from them be bad- and even then, they weren't unplayable.

bcgolf
After a Bridgestone ballfitting I tried the recommended e7. Allthough I knew it was a suitable ball for me I never got round to trust it, nor did i feel comfortable standing over it, nor did I like how it felt short game wise. Funny enough I got a box of Srixon AD333 balls for free on a Cleveland demo day. Those balls feel supersoft shortgame wise, which I seem to like. Furthermore I see no punishment in distance. And I'm totally confident when I stand over it. No shadow of a doubt in my mind I'm playing a suitable ball. So my ball is the Srixon AD333. Siamese Moose
Taylor Made TP Black (bought may at Meijer for $15/dozen this summer, but they seem to be finally gone) Bridgestone e5 - they really do go higher, and though I'm not a real slow swinger, my irons are "trajectory challenged" I wanted to like the Z Star, because of yellow, but I really lost distance with them. Dhuck Whooker
Or lose more balls... Tough to do when they are yellow glowing goodness. Play those Srixons Yellow Z-star Xs too, they glow in the heater. They also harken back to the 80s so I feel young when I hit them into the trees. RookieBlue7
Well, I have now gotten a few rounds in the the Master Grip C4's (formerly the Hogan Tour Deeps) and for $19.99 a dozen, I don't think they can be beat. I shot a few of my better rounds and cleaned up on over $100 the last time out with them for the weekly event at my home course. I had 2 eagle putts on par 5's, and missed both of them because one was a 40 foot double breaker that I got to within 2 feet and converted a birdie and the other was a 6 footer I jabbed at. Regardless, I hit a few of my longer drives of the season (hit driver choked hybrid to the longest on the course, which is 546 yards) with it as well. Overall, I'm impressed after giving them a second go, so much so that I'm fairly certain they'll become my primary ball.
