Who has more fun PGA or European Tours?

So I follow both the PGA Tour and the European tour in Instagram. It seems to me they know how to fun across the pond more so than the guys here! BEEF and Lee Westwood are entertaining. Beers on the course after an ace during practice round, picking a kid up for his birthday! Makes me want to get over there and join in! I mean I am a fan of links Courses anyways. Maybe i should move over there. You guys looking for a superintendent on any courses in the UK? Give me 5 years and I'll be there!

I think in general the European Tour is just more fun. Their marketing is so much better than the PGA Tour. And they think outside of the box

The Europeans definitely have more fun than the we do.  Partially because I think the fans there seem to respect the game more.  I don't hear "Ba Ba Booee" being yelled out like tourneys here.

Better cars, (my opinion) better courses, better pubs... man. More history of the game there. A vacation golf trip is in need.

Euro tour. Last year they put out promotions like clay pigeon target practice with their wedges, but I just saw a video of some guys shooting for a floating green… From a hotel balcony someplace tropical. The US PGA tour needs to have like a fun skills challenge like these

  • 1 month later...

Watching the Irish Open. It just seems way more relaxed. They are trial testing allowing spectators to take video/pics with their phones.

If I was good enough to play on a tour I think I would pick the Euro tour, I love me some links.

I'd rather watch the European Tour... they need an app.

I like watching Links golf. Maybe they aren't stacked fields but at least it's entertaining.

From what I've seen on the schedule it's about 75% heathland/Parkland but it still looks better. I mean golfing in Switzerland sounds terrible...

Yeah, but I still enjoy seeing different parts of the world and the different wildlife.

Oh yeah me too. I wish they'd play or at least cover more of the Australian tour.

So much more to golf than the same old courses year after year.. Masters excluded.
