Rob Person Posted June 28 Share Posted June 28 For you pellet grillers, lowes has 20# royal oak pure charcoal pellets for $12 a bag amd pitboss premium blend 40# bags for $14 Don't know elsewhere, but here it's hard to get the charcoal pellets. I mix them 50/50 with other blends. The charcoal flavor really come through! Garlic buttered Pillsbury jumbo biscuits, topped with Italian meatballs, marinara, 3 Italian cheeses, and some savory spices. This was what was left. It was almost a disaster as i added too much buttermilk to the mix and was turning into a concoction that would make Spider-Man proud. It was sticking to everything. We finally toned it down and they turned out good for a first attempt. I still need to work on it, but I'm happy with the initial result.
