What a course.  I'd love to play a round or two there.  

 

I've played a few holes that are original Old Tom designs and remain pretty much untouched.  But I would live to try an entire course.

I would love to play ANY of those real old courses over there. My only question would be do I play the persimmon and blades or do I play my combo set of hickory and pyratone shafts? My signature set heck no!!! That would be sacreligous to me there

Easy. You only need to play with a mashie, squashie, spoon, putter, and a sheep. That's how you get the real experience.

LOL I will pass on the Sheep part . I do have a Brassie, Cleek, mashie , mashie Niblick and a spoon and a Calamity Jane style putter.

Heck yeah!!! Too bad there aren't more self sustaining golf courses here. Who needs landscaping, wind and time does the trick well. Definitely my kind of place.

Here's what I don't get about Adventures in Golf: think about how much money they spend (airfare, hotels, food, etc.), and they only produce a 10 min. video! Great videos, but I'm not sure they're worth the cost of production. Wish they were longer, say an hour. Then they would be more worth the cost.

I think that makes 3 of us.  That particular video was my favorite from the Adventures in Golf series.
