His insane escapability and ability to run was off the charts and teased most with explosive high light reels. 

I’ll be honest. William’s looked a lot better yesterday than he did the first week. The two best throws he had last night, one was dropped. That was by another rookie. I think they have something, and I want a “fully healthy” bears team to play. Cause let’s be honest, as the year rolls on you have to be dealing with aches and pains.

Eagles totally blew that, but I was ecstatic for my Falcons. Kirk finally looked like the QB we’d hope he be - too bad we now have to play the Chiefs & ‘Aints in the next two games.

THANK YOU!  While the Falcons shot themselves in the foot a couple times with questionable play calls, that no call on Pitts in the end zone was laughably bad.

Packers looked really solid again yesterday. Tennessee is not a great team by any stretch of the imagination; but 8 sacks, two picks and a fumble recovery were MASSIVE by the defense. They looked sluggish on the first series defensively, but turned it on after that. For the first time in a very long time, I am excited to see the defense take the field. Guys are playing fast and the McKinney signing has been a homerun so far.

Very impressed with Malik Willis and once again, a masterclass by MLF with his game plan and play calling. Big time showdown with Minnesota coming up, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Love inching closer to starting. One thing I'll say with certainty is that Willis has shown enough that Love doesn't need to be less than fully healthy in order to play. Also will be a legitimate test for the defense.

... It's not like they have idiots as coaches this year, but they seem to screw up 2 or 3 plays a game that completely change the outcome. We may have run an option sweep on the 1yd line in high school because there are weak LB's and DB's. But we wouldn't do it in college because there are basically 11 in the box and they are all good players. To run that in the NFL is simply a recipe for failure. My guess is Waldron thought he would "fool" the defense as nobody would suspect that call.   But I believe if you can't run it straight in. from 1.5 yds, you don't deserve to score. 

... We know what the Bears have with Eberflus and he is the brains behind the defense but not so sure about him as a HC. I'll need to see around the half way mark in the season if Waldron is the OC that Williams and Bears need. New offense takes awhile to come together but there have been some suspect calls for sure ...

I'm still disgusted in all the dropped balls and poor defense the 49ers had. This defense is even worse than last year. To let the Hams back into the game and win it at the end is poop! And then there's the Wyoming Cowboys!! I know this isn't a college thread but if the school doesn't fix it's mistake by firing every coach in that program they are going to suck for years. UGH

Week 1 Ravens defender called for PI at end of the game on contact no worse than that play.  It is getting obvious that you need to figure in the refs on betting angles as much as the teams.

Week 1 final play the Bills defensive back pass interfered against a Cardinals receiver, but it was not called.

... If any of you have ever spent a little time with a professional Ref or Ump, you would probably realize how tin hat crazy it is thinking any of them are involved in a conspiracy. It is such a thankless job and most everyone dislikes or hates them. They are doing their absolute best to make the right calls and pay no attention to what team it is. Sure some marque vets like Brady, Mahomes and Rodgers may get preferential treatment compared to a Minshew, Darnold and Lawrence but star get the benefit of the doubt in every sport. Gretzky and Jordan come to mind. 
 

... That said, they can all be bad at their job on any given play. There is just so much that goes into penalties like Hand To The Face, Rouging The Passer, Holding and PI when the game is moving at lightening speed and they don't have the advantage of replay, so from any given vantage point penalties can easily be missed one way or the other. I get it, it is particularly frustrating to see a DE/LB actually outright tackle a RB releasing as a safety valve and blowing up the play, then seeing a 15yd penalty when a defender lands with all his weight on the QB and replay shows they put both hands/arms to the ground to prevent using their full weight. But every Ref is graded on every call or no call every game and they all want to score high and earn the right to Ref the playoffs and the SB so none of them are purposefully making bad calls in favor of the Chiefs or any other team. They just blew the call.
