If you don’t have the weight in maybe a little electrical tape would hold it place too?

Lacassem had the adapter but I think he said the weight plug needs to be in as well.

Yea the superstroke accessory is awsome. 20 bucks works like a charm and easy instal. Does require the counter weight for install

Have you thought about getting the SuperStroke putter grip accessory? I initially drilled a hole in my plug to get it to fit, but after my putter sensor died I got it and it works amazingly. 20200505_130730-01.jpeg.ed28c71e39c8ac6ed43166702851e345.jpeg

Funny, I just got finished drilling out the SS plug and got the sensor to fit. Hopefully it will stay in place, if not will get one of these.

Yeah I don't want the counter weight so hopefully my jerry-rigged job will hold up.

What kind of putter do you have? First time using the Arccos this weekend and I have an insert on mine and doesn’t read great. Assuming the insert takes some of the contact sound the sensor is supposed to pick up.

I don't have the counterweight in mine and didn't have a problem with it. Drilling it out will work, too, might make it a little uneven, but it works.

@Lacassem I have a white hot inset in my Pause and have a problem with it picking up on occasion, especially on short putts.

Went to get fit at Edwin Watts golf today and I met up with one of their fitters name Jon a real likable sort of guy. Once he found out exactly why I was getting fit he was a little reluctant because he told me they don’t actually charge for fittings. They are paid on a commission of clubs they sell so he was nice and I have to go ahead and fit me and I told him him I’ll find something else and maybe I’ll look for a putter and so after the fitting that’s what I did ! I don't expect anyone to work for free!

So he spent over 2 1/2 hours with me and this was the results

SpeedZone 10.5 Driver, 14g weight in back, +1* draw setting, Tense Blue 65 Stiff

Speedzone 3F and 5F same settings and shaft only in reg flex

Speedzone One Hybred 4 Tensi CK Pro White 90 Stiff

Speedzone One 5 - SW reg steel shafts KBS Tour 90 standard length 1* upright

Kine One Black Wedge 60*

This is what I bought for his time and effort after he spent more time fitting me for a putter

I have the Tensei Blue stiff shaft on my Titleist TS2 ... absolutely love it. Got a full bag fitting a year ago and got my existing irons redone, but waited on the driver. My only regret is not having got the driver sooner, for I just purchased it (PRICE DROP 🙌🏼) about 3-4 weeks ago. Never in my life have I been more confident on the tee box than I do now.

If you have never been thru a full bag fitting, I highly recommend it.

Glad to see you’ll be doing the OL sets!

As someone who’s 6’4 and has short arms for my height, my current sets are 1” long and 2° up ... the Cobra ONE length would be my 8 iron, and the 8 is my fav club in the bag ... both excited and curious to see what the testers think about the ONE length irons.
I’m getting older, don’t practice much, deal with too much mental chatter while standing over the ball ... can’t help but think that both my game and my enjoyment of the game, would significantly improve. Really love the idea of one swing path and setup.

Is there anyone on this forum that is currently gaming Cobra ONE lengths? What are your thoughts?

I have about 4 rounds under my belt with the Cobra F9 one length irons. Off the rack purchase and I’m really liking them so far. My gapping has been great so far with about 10 yards between each iron. The 3 hybrid is a very nice addition. The 5 iron is easy to hit. I am getting a lot more realistic looks at birdies. I really think a fitted set would be very hard to beat. The varying lie angles mess with my head a bit and I feel I can’t just put the ball in one spot for each club. But, overall they will stay in the bag for awhile.

I don't think anyone can beat the number of rounds you played. Is there going to be a "play more rounds than Foz" week?

Gonna be hard to beat, think I had over 100 rounds logged in the Challenge for ‘18. I’m here if you need me.

I switched last summer and I’ll never go back! I’m in your same boat with the short arms and mental chatter. I’ve been playing for about 5 years and am a former baseball player. I had lessons and practiced a lot but couldn’t consistently strike my irons about the 8 well. I trialed the F9’s and bought the F8’s at the end of the summer last year (I wasn’t a fan of the bulky base of the F9).
Anyway, I immediately saw improvements. My first round after a few range sessions with my F8’s I shot in the 80’s for the first time. It’s been so nice to be able to step up with every club, make the same swing and trust it. It is an adjustment for the lower irons and gap wedge but I’m loving it now. I even saw improvements with my woods. I’m a believer in the one length. I think the stigma of something different is really the only thing keeping more people from trying them.

Great to hear that your fitting went so well, can't wait to see the photos of your set up 😁😎.

What was the reason for having reg shafts in the fairways and a stiff in the hybrid?

It sounds like you had a great fitting experience and I like that you picked up some extras to help the fitter out. That Scotty will look good in the bag with the Cobras and that Arnold Palmer Puma hat looks classy.

Happy to hear that! How was the adjustment hitting a longer shafted PW & GW? There has to be a mental block with that setup initially ... and is the distance the same or longer than your previous irons?

Nice! I truly believe that for many of us, if we can just get out of our own way mentally, we’d be 7 to 10 strokes better. And if the OL helps me in the confidence dept, I’m all for it. I had a golfing buddy of mine swing my current 4 iron, he said it felt like a fairway wood at address with its length and the ball just inside his left heel.

How are the distance gaps with the scoring irons 8 down to GW ... are they consistent for you as well? And the 5 iron, feel like your getting the same distance as your previous set?

Another question, with the progressive offset, is the position of your hands the same at address for each club?

And I def believe a younger version of me would have scoffed at the OL irons as gimmicky ... and thankful I’m a year short of 40 and don’t care what others think. 😆

Happy to hear that! How was the adjustment hitting a longer shafted PW & GW? There has to be a mental block with that setup initially ... and is the distance the same or longer than your previous irons?

It has been a really smooth transition to the wedges for me.  I haven't had a lot of chances to hit them on the course however.  The gap wedge replaced a 48 degree CBX wedge and it is about 5 yards shorter.  The PW is right where I need it to be.  The gap wedge goes high so I started using it on everything inside 100 yards just trying to plop it on the green..  Still dialing it in but I think it will be my go to inside 100 once I get used to it.  I still carry a 52 and 56 in CBX wedges.  The darts at the pin are coming from 8-5 simply because I've had more opportunities with them.

Great to hear that your fitting went so well, can't wait to see the photos of your set up 😁😎.

What was the reason for having reg shafts in the fairways and a stiff in the hybrid?

regular flex not available in Tensi for hybrid for some reason through Cobra. May be something I look into after receiving clubs.

The CK Pro White Hybrid shaft is not made in a regular flex unfortunately. The orange and blue are. If the white doesn’t work out for you the orange may be the one to try in regular for low launch. I have a blue currently in my titleist and love it, but I want a little higher launch and spin from my hybrids. IMG_0121.png
