Popular Post Shrek74
Good morning, and happy Saturday, all you Spies out there!Mild morning, but with lots of sun at the moment. The next 5 days are going to be pretty nice with highs in the mid to upper 50's with sun. Oh, how I've missed the sun the last few months or so. That was one of the best things about living in AZ - sun virtually every day of the year. It's amazing how I got used to it and how it affects our moods when we don't have it regularly.Trying to drum up the energy to go to the gym and then build up the new hitting net. It's one of those cause and effect issues. Low energy/desire to work out, but working out gives energy back, and it snowballs the more often you do it. But you need that energy to get started. Ugh! I need to find some non-caffeinated, low sugar, energy food/drink to help with this.Anyway, have a great day one and all!Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk Jim Shaw, cksurfdude, Cfhandyman and 9 others 11 1 Quote In My Sun Mountain C-130 'merica Cart Bag: Driver: BRNR Mini Driver, 11.5*, Stiff HZRDUS Smoke Blue RDX, 60g Fairway: 949x 3w, 15*, Stiff HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX, 70g Fairway: 949x 5w, 18*, Stiff HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX, 70g Hybrid: 939x 4H (21*), Stiff HZRDUS Smoke Black, 90g Irons: 101's, 5-PW, DG120 S300 Wedges: 286 @ 50*, JBFG @ 54* & 60*, DG120 S300 Putter: 002 Mid-Mallet @ 35", Super Stroke Pistol GT 2.0, Desert Camo Ball: Tour & Testing Vero X1 Technology: H4 w/ Tags, Pro L2 Rangefinder

Popular Post Byrnzee
Good morning spies! Looking forward to a very relaxing Saturday. No real plans on deck, but might try to hit some balls if I can sneak off to the sim tonight (my wife has a girls' dinner that I wasn't invited to... their loss!) Hoping to catch some of the golf on TV as well. Already had a couple cups of coffee but tempted to have some more. Popular Post Jim Shaw
Good morning all.. I am heading to the range today with some trepidation, after a 6 week break we are starting back with my 9 year old grandson with the 4th session of his lessons, that should be easy as he knows the drill. My 7 year old grandson has shown some interest so we are going to piggyback him for his 1st. lesson right after the 9 year old, that should be interesting as he is the "Dennis the Menace" of our wolf pack. And my 12 year old granddaughter has decided she likes our golf course better than the one we had her membership with that was 4 blocks from her house, so she is going to come and hit balls.. Talk about herding cats... my wife has graciously agreed to come and help so that will be easier, I'm sure it will be fine but a Jack Daniels may be on the menu when the dust settles. Have a great day everyone... Good morning all, well it has taken me overnight to be able to "come out of the ether" from yesterday. There were way too many things going on at the range for any real productive lessons, then the plan to go swimming after the lesson got scrapped and the boys decided they wanted to go to the Arcade. Not a problem but the drive was too long etc. etc. so there was, let's say, some unrest lol... Anyway we made it through the 1st. Saturday and have booked next Saturday so will critique, and come up with a better game plan for next saturday.. We are supposed to be hiking the "East Sooke Trail" today, part of the "West Coast trail" for you hiking enthusiasts so that should be fun and beautiful, so far the weather looks amiable so we will see. Have a good day everyone... Yesterday after work went to the Western NY National Cemetery meeting Veteran friends to visit grave markers and thank those who passed on before us for their service - using ghost coins placed on the headstone during the moment spent with their spirit - coins flipped over for each next marker and predecessor - coins kept to pass to any Veteran met who is having a hard time, to pass on with the spirits that have touched and become part of the coin to symbolize the Veteran struggling is not alone. We shared stories of how such acts have changed a Veterans life, my Veteran friends also work for Veterans as do I. Only played nine holes yesterday; still too cold and wet for me... parred the first two holes and the last two holes with bogeys in-between. Very foggy and the wet fairways mean the ball doesn't fly very far and doesn't roll either. A bad combination for me. It's a struggle just to get short of the green with a chance for par. Will see what today brings!! Best wishes for a great Saturday and hope you can play. Well, it's still morning and I'm home. We played 9 holes again today; the back nine is still too wet IMO to play but people are playing it. I'm waiting for it to dry up a little more. Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
Well… it is no longer morning my friends.. So good afternoon. Mother Nature hammered us hard on the work location near the Texas-Mexican border. The thunder, lightning, wind, and rain made my attempts of getting the attention of the work crew by my fist shaking and yelling, look dang feeble. Got soaked and blown around a bit, but got everything secured. Hard storms also back in the realm of the tiara wearing totalitarian. The home course is closed due to the storms so I didn’t miss out on an opportunity to play around. Speaking of the family’s CEO/CFO… She has informed me that my desire to continue to stay on this side of grass has been a tad bit expensive and that we need to enhance revenue. I told her that my salary is locked until June and that she just needs to announce to her clients that….. Needless to say; after making that suggestion, I should probably hang out here on the border in the Cartel sanctuary for another day or two before heading home… This should give her high highness of threats and promised violence, time to regain her composure. Popular Post Jmikecpa
Was up early this morning and saw my son off for his wrestling tournament. Had a coffee and hung out with the dog until it was time to leave for the tournament. Watched my son battle for two matches and ultimately watched him lose his final high school wrestling match 2-1. Nothing prepares you in life to watch lasts for your kids. Neither my son nor I are emotional but this is the second time in 6 months that we shared tears. Last football game he asked if I would just come sit with him on the bench after his game and just be there. Today he just wanted a hug and someone to be there while he let his emotions out. Hard to play sports for your entire life and hit the end. I did it later than him with football but understand the feelings. Also hard as a parent to go through lasts. I was his coach for all the firsts and fortunate to be just a parent for the lasts but damn it is hard.
