Anyone else not happy with custom fitted clubs

Had a great club fitting experience with Club Champion - only negative was that they suggested I use a Left Dash - whereas once the clubs arrived, I clearly was lacking spin and moved to Pro V1x

I use to work at Golf Galaxy and we have few good fitters there at my store. But I just try them on my own and use the golf sim there, lucky me. I got into reg shafts and the M4's irons that I like, that was few years ago. Driver was a Ping that played with last year.  I still use the M4's. Looking for another driver now.

Going through a slight swing adjustment now, and I have come to realize GolfTec did not go into detail enough for my fitting. I was fit into standard lie angles across the board, with 2° upright and +1/2". I realize I need at least 1° upright in my 9, PW, 48, 52, 56, and 60. Possibly more as I get down towards the 60.

This in turn probably makes those clubs too long now also, might not be a big deal for swing weight but it is an issue now trying to reduce heel strikes.

I wish I had more reputable fitters in the area. I may have to make a trip to Calgary to get to a TXG facility. Maybe throw a round in at Banff Springs too 😉

I like golf. You should like golf. If life is tough, play more golf!
