Nice course, but the greens were very poor. The course's bent grass greens do not like the Carolina heat and humidity. Actually, the course closed the next day so they course focus on getting the greens back in shape.

Low Net Score

Strong showing by the VCT Members this week... AS USUAL!!  38 scores below net par.  We have some PLAYERS!!

Leading the way this week...

@J7Hawkins with his Gross 75 / Net 61 (-9 Net) at Stillwater Country Club. 

Congratulations on bringing home the Virtual Hardware this week! 

Close behind was @buckpillar with Net -8 and a second round by @J7Hawkins at Net -7 along with @rkj427 at -7.

 

Most Net Birdies or Better

You can imagine... shooting -9 Net will result in a basket full of birdies... you are not wrong... our weekly winner for Low Net Score also posted the week leading 13 net birdies or better.. 

However, one prize to a customer in this game, and the Birdie Badge goes to @RoverRick and his 12 net Birdies or Better in his round at Sulphur Springs Country Club (on the way to shooting net -6 by the way).  

Congrats Rick on the great round and badge award.

 

Longest Drive

Two amazing things this week in the Longest Drive Category.

1. 376 yards is the top drive.  Amazing in the fact that that is even a posted number

2. I actually made the 295 plus leaderboard this week!!!  (I hit my ball down the equivalent of a concrete parking lot called a fairway in this Houston Heat Wave we have had... but STILL!!!)

Ok, enough self promotion... the real story is @TylorJudd.  376 Yard Drive at Summerland Golf and Country Club.  Crazy long.  I mean... crazy crazy long. 

@Bohnson carded a 357, @J7Hawkins posted a 351 - along with another drive posted by @Bohnson at the same length.
