Tester Wanted: Edison Wedges! Sign Up Here!

I like as much heel and toe relief as I can get, so it's more scalpel, then wedge. On a used gap wedge, as a test, I went out into the driveway where it's hardpan and really sandy then hit a bunch of shots with a severely open face and some with the face closed and coming across my body, using the toe, to show the wear pattern. I then hit those scratched areas on my belt sander, then kept doing it until it was where I wanted it and apparently, I don't need much of a flat spot on the sole of my gap or lob wedge. 

Whenever I do get my next new wedges, I'll get as much heel/toe relief as I can get, then just repeat the process with foam balls, do the grinding, then start hitting real balls, so I don't crush the new grooves, before it's ready to use.

If I were eligible,  I would have participated.  Currently in a test though. Really hope someone grabs these up. Super easy process: Post pic, give reasons, get selected, just paying shipping.

First off, Merry Christmas to you as well! While all that sanding is your go-to, it would defeat the purpose of this wedge test as one of our core technologies is the sole that our innovator patented. The design of the club and it's properties would be diminished therefore making it impossible to promise you anything and very hard to deliver on our performance claims. Other companies have tried to copy this dual bounce sole but none have ever figured it out just right. The closest has been Cleveland/Srixon but if you're lucky enough to be picked I think you'll be surprised at how close this sole is to being universal. Would be nice to get more Edison Wedges to the great state of Georgia, just make sure you follow the rules to enter!

I began following Edison wedges about 2 years ago and finally bought a 54 degree wedge (53 degrees bent to 54 degrees, steel shaft) because I was convinced that it might help my short game. A few months later the PING rep showed me that I got a lot more spin with the PING  Slide 4.0 wedges. Since our greens are very small (Stanley Thompson Course) I decided that lots of spin was important and bought PING Glide 4.0 wedges (graphite 50, 54 and 58 degrees) instead of buying additional Edison wedges. (My pitching wedge is graphite, PING G400, 46 degrees.) I continually wonder if the Edison wedges would have worked any better. Our courses are mostly closed here in Canada, but we have an awesome set of simulators nearby. I spent 1 day every week there last winter and plan to do the same this winter. After each session I receive a Summary of all the shots that I have taken (distance, height, spin, ball speed, dispersion, etc). It is very easy to compare summaries of different clubs. I really would like to do this because I am still wondering whether my next set of wedges should be Edison. The simulator set up and feedback Summaries will make it very easy to compare the Edison and PING wedges. I am 71 years old and my handicap is 20.0 Thanks for this opportunity to enter as a possible tester.

My current gamers are Callaway mack daddy 4 54deg and a 58dwg PM grind. I got them about 5 years ago when I started playing more often. Reason for choosing them at the time was thats what they had in the pro shop and I didn’t know anything about wedges. That being said I have never had any confidence in them when it comes to full shots. 
I have read the reviews from the other testers and think the Edison wedges would really suit my game. I live on Vancouver island so while it can be quite wet in the winter we can play all year round. I also have a mevoplus in the garage so I will be able to compare data from that. I also Just retired so I have lots of time on my hands

Your dual-bounce-sole, could be the exact thing that would prevent me from even a little modification and that would be most excellent, because it's a process, to be sure.

I'd love to test these.  My current gamers are the original Edisons.  I have used up to 4 of them 47*, 51*, 55*, 59*.  Currently I'm using the 51* Edison, a 54* PXG Sugar Daddy (original), and 59* Edison.  I have loved the 51 and 59 - the 51 especially around the green and the 59 especially for longer pitches and full shots up to 85 yards.  For some reason the 55* Edison never worked out for me (still haven't figured that one out), so I had to replace it, thus the PXG.  The 47* has also been really good and competes regularly for a spot in the bag with the AW from my set (ST Pro's).   

All that to say, I'm a big fan of the original Edisons and have been pining to try the 2.0 version.  So, I think I could be an ideal tester to compare the Edison 2.0 to the original as well as to compare it against some of its competition from other Wedge brands.  My most meaningful data would be taken directly from my experience playing with them on the course, but I would also supplement it with data from range sessions with my Garmin R10 launch monitor, CT-10 club sensors, and practice green sessions. Pics and videos would be part of the review presentation.

I play my wedges due mainly to shape and I have fallen in love with the grinds. Nike made great wedges and I have no reason to change but I would love to test some other wedges and see if they can kick them out. 
 

I’m a +5 handicap and rely heavily on my short game and putting. I can confidently give these wedges a true test.
