I wouldn’t consider it a lot of water that comes into play.  Houses are set back pretty well, but there are some that are hittable.

Bail left on 17 far enough and the hill can bring it back to the green…read the break from the tee!

That's good to know, I tend to miss irons to the left when I hit them decently and don't either shank or top them. I think I saw another hole like that where there's a hill to the left and it looks like you might use it to your advantage. I might be mistaken since I usually watch golf videos before falling asleep.

There are a couple you can bring in from the left, but also a few that you definitely don’t want to miss left!

Well I packed 3 dozen little dimpled spheroids.. so yeah may also have to reload going into the weekend...

  Quick question for those flying to the meet up.. Are you bringing your clubs with you? Are you shipping ahead of time, if so, who are you shipping with? Is renting clubs an option from the venue(s)?

I just hope they will give me a chance when they first see my "cooler bag" to look inside to see more that 8 dozen experienced golf balls in there... and that's probably the only thing "cool" about it.  Just hoping I don't need to use all of them, but someone might need a few extras (keep that in mind everyone)

I think I've got close to 4 dozen and that gives me a dozen per round, hopefully that'll be closer to enough.

Most that are flying are bringing their own clubs with them as checked baggage. Cksurfdude shipped his clubs to the resort with ship sticks I believe. This resort also rents clubs if you don’t want to bring your own.

Just a warning for all... there is going to be a LOT of extra clubs floating around for testing, trial and such. A little astonishing all that is making its way there.

Yes Tom is correct - I'm using Ship Sticks* for the trip down.

My flight is American which (a) does not have the best reputation for delivering passenger + golf club cases to the same destination, and (b) there's a connecting flight through Philly with a change of terminals plus a change to a smaller regional airline .. so yeah I got nervous and figured for a few $ more I figured Fed Ex was less risky, plus a lot easier for me.

Most golf courses - especially resort and destination ones - do rent clubs, tho of course they'll most likely be a lot different than your own setup.

* Fwiw do plan to do a brief write up of pros/cons after the trip.

Very unscientific calculations, see the math below. 

20 guys playing 4 rounds equals 80 rounds,  4 more playing 3 rounds= so roughly 92 rounds played.

Now wide range of golfers from near scratch to 20 plus caps.   Let's go probably low with 4 balls lost per round,  the scratch or low single digit guys might not lose any or 1, and the higher caps might lose 6 or more.  So that's a close average.    Add in the unfamiliar courses and maybe a bit of fatigue by Sunday.  So let's up that to 5 per round.   So that's a pretty healthy body count of @Yellow Balls friends and family        Let's round up and make the over/under at 500

That's a very big number.  I would be totally game of everyone keeping track of their count and us adding it all up on Sunday afternoon for fun!

I've got a new Wilson adapter laying around that I can bring.  Highly doubt that would be needed but will be happy to make that an option.

I don't think I've gone out of state for an overnight trip since our five year anniversary. My wife hates the interstate and we just pretty much stay close.
