Nike slingshot irons reshafting

Recommended Posts

I am playing a set of Nike Slingshot irons and am considering restarting these.  I have previously done several set of irons but as a hobbyist and a 90-95 golfer should they be balanced.  Current shaft is a multi flex but would like something a bit better.  Full disclosure—75 years old.

Thanks for your thoughts!!

Do you already have the shafts? Depending on what you buy they can be similar to the cost of a used set of newer irons.

If you want similar feel for weighting of the club make sure you find something in the same weight class. If going to graphite it may be lighter and that could be a good thing, but the head may feel heavier. Grips also have influence as they can adjust swing weight.

Do you know if you want to go lighter in weight?
