I’d say the value of the brand is in the accessories. The headcover, hats and gloves look nice and probably won’t be overpriced badly. Like a lot of the other comments the logo seems pretty weak. I'm sure they ran into the issue that there are already 10million other tiger/big cat logos out there so they had to try and come up with something different. It's too bad they couldn't have brought over the Frank headcover logo. Steeve Posted February 13 Share Posted February 13 Icon: Yes. It looks weird now, but it's easily recognizable and simple. Overall brand: Horrendous. The real reason it's "Sun Day Red" and not "Sunday Red" is because, well let's me honest, it was already trademarked. The story they created behind that name "golf is played in the sun" is a horrendous job of story telling. Price: Not a fan. We'll see how the quality is but I have a feeling that it will not be in the same quality as something like Rhoback or Peter Millar and yet it will be more expensive because it's Tiger's brand. You can be premium and still be priced in the $75-$90 range. I'm a designer, so my opinion is probably tainted on the design side of it. As @blackhawk1539 mentioned, I think the accessories are so far the best items I've seen. Gloves, hats, headcovers, etc. I like some of the apparel I've seen like some of the sweaters/hoodies, but I'm not going to be rushing out to buy anything anytime soon. Will be interesting to see him pushing product this weekend for the first time since early Nike days. Early morning video on socials was surprising. In and of itself Sunday Red should work but what they’ve done does seem to be lacking. I think it’s going to be just another luxury golf brand. I just can’t bring myself to buy $100 plus polos or $150 plus hoodies. I’m a fan of nice design but not at those prices. Sure there are plenty of Tiger die-hards out there that will get them but I've never been a massive fan of Taylormade apparel anyway. I've tended to enjoy either the sports brands (Adidas, Puma and UA being some I love) or even Callaway and Footjoy as better shirt makers. Nothing I've seen will likely pull me away from that at this stage. Even though it's basically the same, I think the subtle TW adds a little extra pizzazz. Still dislike it, but it goes from like a 4/10 to a 5/10.
