Saw MGS reviewed this. Saw a YouTuber review this... I have posted a few messages places and searched some forums, can't find anyone who purchased it and did any sort of thread dedicated to it...

Anyone have the Puttr? Is it worth is? How well does it roll?

Look interesting.  Haven’t seen much about it up in Canada.  Would probably want to try it before considering buying one.

Yeah, my bad for never coming back and posting.  I like it but don't love it.  But I think some of my issues are more related to the location I have it set up than the Puttr itself.  I have it in my finished basement, but am unable to get it perfectly level.  I can get the base level using the feet adjustment, but the mat always has a slight left to right break.  It's subtle, but it makes the lab app less appealing, as I know I'm not hitting it perfectly straight even if the lab reports that I'm hitting it in the exact center of the cup.

The incline of the base seems too steep to be replicating a putt that is supposed to have a 2' past-the-hole speed.  The break putting from the right or left side of the mat is a little weird as well.  The biggest issue I've run into is the app only supports a single profile, so if you have someone else in your house that uses the Puttr, they need to log you off and log in with their own account.  This becomes even more of a hassle when you have guests who want to try it out but you don't want your stats to be impacted, so you have to have a 3rd account to use.  It would be nice if you could just select a profile when starting the app.

I found having the iPad sitting on the base of the unit a bit restricting, as you have to bend over to reach the iPad every time you interact with it, which is quite often on some of the games.  The Puttr does not include any type of mount for the iPad on top of the box, so you have to supply it yourself.  I ended up mounting an iPad on the wall higher up behind the unit, which works pretty well.  The games are fun, but not as addicting as I was hoping to get me to practice putting for hours at a time.  I do have a full golf sim next to where the Puttr is set up, so that always seems to pull me away after a while.  My wife and daughter, whom both golf, used the Puttr quite a bit when I first got it, but their usage declined dramatically after the first couple of weeks.

I also have an original Exputt, which I like a little better. It shows your putter path and other technical information on your putting stroke. The perfect combination would be a Puttr and Exputt combined... which may be something I'll try to put together once outdoor golf season finishes up this year.

Great feedback, thanks.

yes, I have that same concern. Will I use it enough in the future to justify the subscription in 10 months or 28 months, etc. It does say it has a 100 day money back guarantee. That feels like a like enough time to figure out if I like it or not?

Anyone recommend a nice putting mat to do my putting practice? I need something I can lay out in my garage and get  10-12 feet of length. I have a laser to show my putting line but my carpet has inconsistent roll.

Callaway guy all the way!

Depending on budget...

Low - Perfect Practice
Medium - Birdie Ball Foam
High - Prime Putt or Birdie Ball Tour Turf
