Yep.  I have the same thoughts.  Fairway, green, two putt and avoid the doubles.  I am a once a week golfer so I also have to hope the weather is good for my weekly round.

Dang…at least my tournament 87 got me 1 freaking point!!! Sigh…

I guess 2nd flight kicked me in the nuts both on the STX Am Tour and here.

I need to play/post a round from the whites again instead of the tournament tees I guess.

I’m not sure if it’s the biggest range of best/worst rounds but it might be up there. 
best 76 and worst I think was 94

End of Season Event

With Season 3 coming to an end on Oct. 6th, we cordially invite all to participate in our end of season tournament. Here are the details:

We are using a modified Stableford scoring system.

 

The point systems is set up like this:

Two or more over net par over par=0 points

One stroke over net par=1 point

Make a net par=2 points

One stroke under net par=3 points

Two strokes under net par=4 points

Three strokes under net par=5 points

Four strokes under net par=6 points

Submissions will be similar to the previous VCT special tournaments. When you submit your scores, we will need a picture of your scorecard (or digital version) which has hole by hole handicap, par and their scores.  We will also need the course rating and slope from the tees you played from.

This event is open to any and all forum members that would like to participate. For those that haven't submitted enough (or any) rounds to be added to a flight, we will accept a screen shot of your GHIN handicap. Other handicaps submitted will be evaluated on a case by case basis. 

The schedule for this event is:

 

VCT Season 3 ends on 10-6

10-7 to 10-13 narrow field to 30

10-14 to 10-20: narrow field to 10

10-21 to 10-27: Crown event champion

Since it is a single person event I plan on participating.   That way if the weather doesn’t cooperate I am only hurting myself

Sorry folks, I'm so going to destroy this.  I always seem to come away with high net birdie.  With these new irons, an improved swing and some hella confidence, I think you're gonna see some scores that will blister your sheets.

Thankfully the week cutoff dates allow me to squeeze in a round to make the first cut.  Then it's my birthday week, so you know... could be dicey in how I play.   Last week wraps up just before I fly out again.  Thank the weirdness, the fates have aligned.

And some house keeping.  @GolfSpy_BEN, it seems I have an extra point after week 22.
