Like the idea, but i dont see the practicality. Im guessing by doing this they are trying to attract a new market to golf but I just dont see people picking up the game because you can play in urban areas. People who play golf take time and go to a course or range.

Personally I think this'd be magic to have in a couple of different scenarios. 1) Heavy traffic while your on the long, arduous journey to a holiday destination in summer - pull over, get the kids out and stretch the legs for a couple of 'holes' on your course of choice. 2) Early part of a stag/bachelor party - the mind boggles with potential ...

Nice concept but doubtful it will be practical. I mean if you intend to practice your swing, you will already pre-plan to go to the range or something and not grab this concept bag and travel around and suddenly have the urged to do a practice swing lol

Back when I was driving all over the country (10 years installed equipment in 26 states and drove through 46 states and stopped to play golf in each state), I carried a 2 iron beside the seat. When I would get tired I would pull over and get out and take Practice swings. Beat the heck out of jumping jacks or something.

Looks like they are targeting university campuses? I see it working well in that scenario. I definitely would have had one.

I love the concept Street Golf is an excellent way to bring the sport to people than wouldn´t normally go to a golf course. The Swedes - a great golf nation - understand how to use Street Golf. Almost Golf balls and a club or three, that´s all you need. I don´t think this concept and bag is aimed at "normal" golfers like us. Sure, we might want to try this, but I think it´s all about a brand new group of golfers.

You know no one ever expected Disc golf to take off either, So I guess there can be possibilities here. I just want to see what happens when some kids in NY City on hollywood BLVD decide to play some golf !LOL!

I know its a soft ball, but when someone on 7th Ave gets hit with a shank I smell a fistfight or a lawsuit. No court will uphold "Fore! is considerable warning" on the streets.

 

The only place this will truly work will be a wide open space........like a pitch and putt....a golf course?
