tony@CIC
One of my favorite courses in Cincinnati designed by Arthur Hills. The front 9 are designed after holes on courses played in The Open Championship and the back 9 are holes designed after US Open courses. Took some pics on the back 9 today. Even have a nice 19th hole if 18 wasn't enough. Our course is an Arthur Hills design with the usual tough approaches to the greens, lots of water and bunkers everywhere. They hold the Qualifier here every year. This was the first course I played in AZ after taking up golf. Back in 1993 it wasn't called TPC Champions, I think it was just the Desert Course. My, the trees are a lot bigger now, and it looks so well maintained. Back then, it was just natural brush and desert between fairways, and lots of these signs... robertana.c.3, Rickp, perseveringgolfer and 2 others 5 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Bonks
Looks like a nice course. Our course is an Arthur Hills design with the usual tough approaches to the greens, lots of water and bunkers everywhere. They hold the Qualifier here every year. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpyThis course is very similar to that as well. The front 9 is more of a links style course but he used elevation changes combined with deep bunkers to make you carry your shot the exact distance to get it to the greens. The best part about this course is the friendly staff, they go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your time at the course.
