I have a feeling my hands will be sweating. They are perfect. I must own them. The lack of anything offensive, offset like my wedges, and that clean cut oh my goshness...

I did during my fitting for the JPX 900.   I can't reveal too much yet though  ;)              Gotta save it for the Stage 1 reviews which I would think should be coming in the next week or two.

I did it a couple of weeks ago because I felt like my shafts were fighting my swing. It's gotten a lot better than the first time I used a few years back. It was cool to see my hand speed and stuff along with the swing speed

I'm still a Shiels "guy"  But I've at least come around on Crossfields personality, and like him a bit.   However, i much prefer Shiels testing in the studio hitting out onto the range but showing it on the simulator.  I feel I get everything I need to see there, distance, ball flight etc.     With Crossfield on the course you are pretty much just getting the spectacular views.   His shaky hand showing the computer monitor for the data, doesn't do it for me.

 

I may be picking nits, but that's my main complaint with his style.

Pretty sure I'd enjoy making some surgical shots with them. I don't know what it is about compact clubs, but they suit my eye the best. Might not be the best for my game, but I only plan on living once. So the Shankster MP-18 iron set fund has been started.

From all of the pictures and reviews I've seen. The topline looks rather chunky on these. Need to find a place within 1000 miles that will have them.

I think it's just camera angle. If you look at my stage 1 pictures, the top line of my 900 Tours look thicker than they are in real life. Camera adds 10 lbs!

 

To touch on the shaft optimizer part, it's not the be-all-end-all of fitting, but damn it's pretty good! I had my lady take some video at the range yesterday and you can see for yourself when I possibly post them in my stage2, but the thing knows your tempo and how you load the shaft. I knew I had a smooth swing/transition, but it was further verified by the shaft recommendations and my "curve" after hitting the shots.

 

Make sure you take some warm-up shots with it though, don't go straight into the recorded swings. I took about 10 shots with it before I told the fitter I was ready to go.

 

Finally, I want a 6-PW in MP-18 and SCs at the top. I guess I'd have to get the SCs bent a little bit so the gaps would cover, but holy s*** one day these will be mine. The 900 Tours have completely changed my attitude towards what I desire in an iron. I used to just want them to fly high and stop quick, now all I can talk about is feels.

So the MP18 Fli-Hi 3 and 4 irons just happened today.   Probably have no business getting the 3 even in the Fli-Hi, but I like ordering in pairs...ha
