No doubt he does. He has to be one of the most unpretentious athletes I've seen in any sport.  I remember watching film of him at the US Open he was signing tons of autogrpahs and posing for pictures for just about everyone that he could.

 

Can't wait to read about Everyshady's experience with him.   Will also be looking for him in the gallery if they show Beef.  He shouldn't be hard to spot...ha

Great looking weather so far shady!  Is it supposed to get worse as the week goes on?

it was really nasty this morning when the first groups went out.  I had it DVR'd and began watching it when I got up at 5:00.   Mark O'Meara hit the first ball of the open out of bounds on 1, and ended up with a Quad.   Nobody was reaching that green in two the first hour or so.  Then the weather cleared and they started scoring a bit.

 

will be interesting to see tomorrows weather.

wow... sounds like your tee time can really make a difference of a number of strokes this week

Yeah, I think this tournament more than any other major that can happen.  The fact they go off one tee and have literally something like 10 hours between tee times can be a wide swing in conditions.  I remember a golfer a few years ago, can't remember who or which Open, but he saw how guys teeing off in sunny 70 degree weather, went back to sleep and when he woke up and started to get ready, it had dropped like 25 degrees and was raining sideways.   he said it was at least a 5 stroke difference.

We've spent most of the day with Shawn his manager and i haven't heard anyone call him andrew. Him mom and girlfriend might. But his sister and brother introduced themselves as Beefs sister/brother. Niece had the best uncle Beef out there on the course at the tee. Beef did all his could not to burst out laughing. Highlight of the round outside the eagle.

Dinner with Beef was great he was super nice to everyone there even had a few guys from the outside come up and chatted with all of them and took pictures. Also was with us for a good long time.
