I'm completely jealous of your seemingly endless selection of clubs! Do you tend to hold onto them for awhile? Or is it more of a test and turn type deal for you?

 

Also, on a side note I started a thread in the club fitting section about shafts. And with all of your knowledge about different clubs, and experience I definitely would love to hear your input if you have any to give!

Couldn't resist, I had to take the aluminum piece out to see how it was made and what it looked like without it...  Precision milling under the piece.  And it came out easy.

After waffling on whether to leave it stock or not, I've decided to NOT leave it stock... I've pulled the aluminum insert, removed the anodization and polished it up so far.  Waiting on the weight removal tool now so I can finish the project up.

I also had 2 Scotty heads and a Studio design #5 show up for refinish(I bought the SD 5 to rehab the other 2 are someone else). Needless to say wifey wanted to know what the hell was going on today (that's verbatim).

After hitting 3 wood off the tee near exclusively for the last 2 weeks (save a 2 of the 4 par 5's and the #1 handicap hole, a long uphill then downhill par 4) I decided to try to work the kinks out with the driver. I took the SLDR out with me but had 2 more to try to get back into the bag, the R11 and the SFTP 2.0 v2 LCG. I'd reshafted the LCG with a Black Ops Pearl I had lying around, removing the PXv. After today's round I hit all 3. MURDERED the LCG so looks like next round out, it's going back in the bag.

 

I am likely purchasing some new irons soon, though, and have been eyeing the G30. Also am highly considering buying a Bennington Q4 bag.

This is the first I've even heard of Bennington golf. I checked out their website. Really nice looking bags.

Rookie, I would love to hear how you got the red off the Scott Cameron squareback. I removed everything but the alignment and the red on the bottom. Paint stripper didn't work. Thanks for advice...

It's anodized.  Remove the plate then remove the paintfill.  Simple soak it in a bowl of Greased Lightning cleaner and agitate repeatedly till it comes off.  It'll take about 30 minutes.  Then leave matte or polish with aluminum mag wheel cleaner.

Hi one more quesion. How the heck do you pull that plate off....

The 4 Allen screws on the bottom come out. They have locktite on the threads but you can break them free with a little effort. You may want to submerge the sole of the putter in water as hot as you can get from the tap for 5-7 minutes to soften it up just a little
