Looking to move to lighter steel or possibly graphite in irons.

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I’m new here.
I’m currently playing project x 6.5 shafts in TM MC irons. I just got a set of Z745 heads given to me and am wanting to move to something a little lighter. I’ve also played C Taper X and really liked them and X100 and didn’t care for them as much. My ball flight with the 6.5 is right where I want it, mid with no ballooning. Is there anything that acts like c taper or Project X in the 120 gram range?  I typically don’t like shafts that kick much.

Have you tries the Steelfiber, Recoil, KBS, OTi, or MMT composite shafts?  Most have offerings in the heavy and stiff that are finding their way into pro bags.

Investing in an iron fitting would be my recommendation.
