I was in the backyard a while ago and the Cardinal mom buzzed me and then Bluebird mom & dad took shots at me. Bluebird chicks are just getting hatched and mom & dad are flying in and out feeding all day long. It’s 2nd bluebird hatch this spring. I ended up 3rd out of 40 players. I had a bad front 9 but it could have been worse had a stellar back nine. My playing partner in our last group nipped me by 1 shot. We got a laugh out of it because 4 years ago before I had my accident he nipped me by one shot in the Championship no handicap flight for a Multi Club Championship. One of our older members who is a high handicapper had a stellar day and took my bud by one and me by 2 shots. Well deserved for him. Like I said a lot of folks gave me congrats because they know where I came from 3 years ago. I count it personally as a win. I'm really excited as we have a tee time at a course I've never played before this coming Tuesday. It should be a fun round considering every hole has at least two bunkers guarding every green.
