That's a big part of scheduling the Scotland trip in July. After being over there with (likely) highs in the 60s, I may not want to come back to the NC swamps. Although a slight nitpick: Saunas as created by the Finns are dry heat, more than 70 degrees Celsius (158 F) and 10-20% humidity. Steam rooms, which are sometimes called wet saunas, are 100-120F but extremely humid. GF has a portable wet sauna in our spare room and loves it. Noted that I have advanced a level in the MGS forum hierarchy today. Not sure exactly what that means, but I moved up to level 3. Post #1000 is coming up soon. Fast forward 20 years, I am living just south of Everett and have a membership to Paul Allen's Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Musem which is located on Paine Field. They would do regular flying days. Below are some of my photos from there. Amazon Prime has a really good documentary about the Blue Angels 2022 season with great aerial photography. Back in the ‘90s I was responsible for moving the Navy Aviation “A” Schools (and ATC “C” school) from NAS Memphis to NAS P’cola due to BRAC ‘92. I had a lot of trips to P’cola and frequently saw them practicing mid-week. Also a wonderful museum there that is open to the public. Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
Good morning my fellow spies. It is a working Wednesday for me. Got safely to the work site late yesterday afternoon. Up for the pre-work supervisor’s meeting. The crews should have a relatively “ mild “ week of temperatures in the mid to high 90’s with a low humidity. Will still have to watch them and enforce mandatory heat breaks, as called for. Hoping I don’t have to rip any of them for drinking energy drinks. On a personal note, hoping to push myself everyday to see what my energy and stamina level(s) are at. The last few rounds of golf, I noticed my mental focus evaporated worse than my physical strength when I got tired on the back 9. I should have known that there was a reason behind the “ kindness “ that her “ Conniving Countess “ engaged in , in helping me pack to leave.. She is going to look for a new vehicle. This is where pretty much my married life is at…. The wife person is looking to spend five figures while I am left contemplating…. Have a great Wednesday my spies in whatever this day may bring…. An interesting night in Charlotte. Entered my hotel room and immediately noticed a high pitched whine. It stopped briefly, then resumed. Took me a while to figure out where it was coming from, but it was the room refrigerator. It was not going to let me sleep otherwise, so I unplugged the fridge. Sleep was difficult enough due to the concrete slab masquerading as a bed in my room. I'd doze off and wake up with sore ribs or a sore shoulder. One patient in Charlotte, then drive to Fayetteville. It didn't look like much of a slope where the ball was dropped but obviously there was some. In related news, the forecast in southern NC is for warm and dry conditions through Saturday, then a chance of some stuff on Sunday. So the course is only likely to get faster and harder. Rough? Busy day of work for me and then I have a quick 9 holes scheduled for later with an old work friend. Have a good day everyone! @Steve F - glad things are getting a little better for your calf issue, but it does help to rest (trust me on that one)! Not so fast, my friends. GPS informs me there is a major slowdown on that route and gives me an alternate route. I accept it, with no idea where it will take me. As I go, I realize where I'm headed: Straight for Pinehurst. Finally turned to the west before I got there, but within 12 miles of the course. And seeing signs directing golf fans to US Open parking areas was not what I wanted to see. I that’s what you call a tease I think. sirchunksalot, Steve F, EnderinAZ and 11 others 9 5 Quote Anyday Maverick Black Ops 7-way 0311 Black Ops 8° w/Mitsubishi Diamana S+ 60 0311 XF 3 wood 16° w/Fujikura Motore X F3 0211 Hybrid 3 19° w/Project X Even Flow Riptide G410 Crossover 4 w/Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro Blue 70 Paradym X 6 - GW w/True Temper Elevate MPH Official Forum Test SM9 54°/12° D and 58°/12° D w/KBS Tour 110 DF3 w/BGT Stability ONE Forum Test Shot Scope Pro LX+ Pro LX+ Official Forum Test Pro V1 3.5+ Tests No Longer in the Bag ER11v 34” Evnroll ER11v Official Forum Test
Popular Post Merlin1313
Good Mornin Y'all- HAPPY HUMPDAY- things might actually be a little quiet finally on campus since the kids are gone and things have slowed down- but the faculty/staff still have to spend their budget money so they don't get dinged in the next fiscal year- ah yes- job security at its finest. Donated some clubs to the local First Tee so that someone else might get some use out of them. Hope y'all have a great day and Fairways and Greens for EVERYBODY rkj427, Josh Parker, GolfSpy_KFT and 13 others 16 Quote ALL Paradym 10.5*(11.5*) (Hzrdus Gen 4 Silver 60/KBS TD) Apex UW 17* (Tensei AV Blue 75) Apex Pro 21 Hybrid 20*/23* (KBS Hybrid) Paradym 6-PW (Nippon NS Pro Modus 3 Tour 105X) Jaws Raw Face Chrome 48* (Nippon NS Pro Modus 3 Tour 105X) Jaws Raw Chrome Full Toe 54*/ 58* (Nippon Pro Modus 125 Wedge) Jaws Full Toe Black Wedge 64* (DG Tour Issue Spinner 115) WHOG #5 Chrome Soft X
Popular Post rkj427
Good morning Spies on a very sunny and soon to be heating up Michigan day here. No golf plans for today, actually watching my 7 year old grandson, so I am sure I will be quite busy trying to keep up to him. Finally resolved the issue getting my insurance company and glass company to verify and approve my windshield replacement and should get the car back later today. Seems the glass company made a typo error when entering the policy number on their end. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.
