Terrible showing yesterday no doubt. I THINK but don’t know for sure that yesterday was a “gold” Season ticket game which is from the way old days when the Packers would play some games in Milwaukee. Fans are always worse at those games. Also a ton of Detroit Blue in the stadium last night. Pack got spanked, no way around it. I was prepared for an up and down year. Nothing has changed in terms of Joe Barry deploying a wet blanket run defense.

lol sorry @chisag but until Chicago has a real QB you don’t have any room to talk about QB play IMO he was not perfect today and like I said there’s going to be growing pains and ups and downs this year. Still 1/3 of the way there on career wins compared to Fields

... You are starting to sound like you are running for office. I know you are from Wisconsin but Wahtaboutism in football? I think nobody has been more vocal than ole chisag when it comes to Fields and not being able play QB in the NFL. So that's your measuring stick for Love? Justin Fields? Really? If you are satisfied with being 33rd best QB out 32 teams since Fields occupies 34th you have fallen a looooooong way from Favre and Rodgers. Let's have this conversation about Love next year when Caleb Williams or Drake Maye are playing for the Bears. The only thing Fields can do for Chicago is keep being Fields so the Bears get the #1 pick in the draft. 

...  And maybe they didn't teach you this in flag intramural football, but QB's don't have wins and losses. Teams have wins and losses. Packers fans ... sigh.

... Had my Financial Advisor outing at WeKoPa Saguaro Golf Course yesterday and it was blast. Paired up with 2 guys that didn't add many shots but when they did, they were lifesavers. I was just automatic off the tee and starting on a par 3 that I misjudged the wind, slid an 8 iron into the right bunker and a par 5 I over swung after they had a good drive in the fairway, we used 16 of my tee shots. I putted last and they gave me great reads all day and we finished 9 under. 13 under was the winning score. But the star was the golf course and you can see why it is the #1 public course inn AZ.

I had my last scramble of the week yesterday. I too had two with little contributing shots. Finished with a 64 and was last in A flight. One stroke too good to win B flight. But on a positive note I won the long drive. They let 65 and older hit from the senior tees but still competed against the men from the white tees for long drive. That was their mistake. I blistered the paint on that ball. I was ahead of the long drive sign by 30 yards. We had a ton of fun.

... Panthers remain winless so good news for the Williams/Maye sweepstake in the April Draft. Bears losing is added security so maybe even a 1-2 draft position but that Bears game today reached a new level of dysfunction. Having to repeat: Bad Teams find a way to lose.

... As a life long Shaft Ho, I think I have finally turned a corner. When my back isn't too tight, I am hitting my Ventus Red Velocore better than any shaft I have played. I missed one fairway last round and was around 15yds longer than my normal average. Like anything that is a perfect fit, it feels like nothing and just compliments my swing. I should just pull the adaptors from my other shafts so I don't fall off the wagon.

Your obsession with shafts is like my obsession with putters.  Even when you find something perfect you still think it van be improved.   Removing the adapters will only indicated that you have adapters that can be put on other shafts

Replacement driver head showed up from Taylor Made today. Couldn't be happier with the customer service! @chisag was right, they did send out a Stealth 2 to replace the original Stealth that was busted.

Some sad news for any older person who followed the NFL, especially the "Black & Blue" division of days gone bye.

One of the best linebackers to ever play the game.

Passed away at the age of 80, and his career is legendary, both college and professional levels.

RIP Dick Butkus.

Exactly!  Extremely tough on the field but a gentle person off the field.

I said before the season started that with the upgrades and if and it is a bi IF,  Fields can at least start to read defenses and be able to get to his second option quickly, escape major injuries as well as have a little luck, the Bears could win 8-10 games. I thought Fields made one throw last night, with the pass to a covered Moore in the end zone, that was a step forward. Even with some of his completions in the first half to open WRs he was just a little late to recognize them. As you saw in the 2nd half when Washington made adjustments he was the same ole Fields holding the ball too long, missing open WR's and inaccurate.

... Unless something changes pretty radically in his ability to read a defense and react quickly, I just see more of the same. Good play mixed with poor play and to state the obvious, the better the defensive opponent, the worse Fields will play. I also think the defense is jelling and improving so they might be able to win a few more games going forward, but the under at 7.5 wins for the season still looks like a lock.

... Looking at the schedule, I will have to agree with you. Of course they could win less but doubt they could win more. Winning at this point is a disaster and could put them back in no mans land if they don't get one of the first two picks and draft Williams or Maye. Panthers draft pick is the ace in the hole and too bad they Bears play them because one team has to win.

A guy I know from here in Wisconsin works at WeKoPa! His name is Erik Sorenson. Good golfer, super nice guy and competed in some of the Wisconsin State Amateur events here. Played in the Tuesday league I am in last year with a cousin of his who is also a good golfer. Looks like an awesome course.

... Sweet! There are other public courses with awesome mountain views and serious elevation changes, but for just straight beauty because it is on an Indigenous Reservation and there are no buildings in site, it is hard to beat. Conditions are always excellent as well.

Chicago, IL (AP) - A 7 year old boy was at the center of a court room drama yesterday when he challenged the court’s ruling of who should have custody of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents, and was initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beats him more than his parents, and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he should live with his grandparents, the boy cried and then stated they beat him also.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life for them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Chicago Bears, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone. #HookLineAndSinker
