Hello all, 

let’s start this out with the ole witb

Driver: sim2 max with ventus 5-s shaft and  lamkin cross line grip

Irons: snake eyes 600b  (5-pw) with rifle 5.5 shafts with golf pride mcc white grips 

Wedges: Titleist vokey sm4 52*, 56* and a mild steel raw 60* 

Putter: Odessey r-ball stroke lab putter 

workin on getting some new irons as my handicap and abilities clearly show I need different irons lol

Glad you found our little online community! How raw are the Wedges? Did you let them really rust?

Just the 60 is raw and it is rusted pretty good.

Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing. 

I had/have a thread on my previous irons which I rusted on purpose/cleaned and more. They were the Sub70 659 and had a lot of fun toying around with them. Something about the rusted looks is really appealing to me.

I agree! I saw my 60 at a garage sale and it instantly jumped out at me. Still hits good but I really love the look and feel of it. 
 

how are the sub70 clubs? I have only seen a bit of reviews online

I was taking a gander at some Titleist Ap2 716 the other day.

They were fantastic. 

I did end up moving away from them, but mainly a user thing, nothing to knock on the clubs. They felt great, performed well and overall are just excellent value for money.

Welcome, it’s a fun place to do some debating and learning. @TSauer I’ve seen Snake Eye irons on Rock bottom golf website. Not sure if that’s the only place you can get them, but I know I’ve seen them there along with Ray Cook and Ram clubs.

Snake eyes clubs are from Golfsmith (now out of business) the forged

irons are good hitting clubs---in due time may want something more forgiving.

Maltby clubs from Golfworks are a great deal (with different price points) and they will custom make them to fit the golfer not just something off the rack at a store.
