This is my brother John. He is in the Navy and he's my hero, not for keeping me safe when he's out on his Sub but for helping me with my math and science homework.

And he wants a piece of some guy named Bones in a long drive contest.

Penny,

Thank John for his service to our country.  We all appreciate it.

Keep up with the homework while he is on duty.  Math and science are fun!

Would love to watch the LD contest!!

Good stuff! Dated a girl whose step dad was on a sub and became a Nuke engineer at one of the local Nuke plants. Definitely smart guys on those subs! Thank you for your service, John!

He's Penny's brother Stu that makes him my son, we have a little gap between children and there one that's older than he.

John is a Nuke Mr. Divots. He's been taking online courses from Thomas Edison University and should have his degree in nuclear engineering soon. He is scheduled for one more underway this summer and then he will head to Balstan Spa NY to teach aspiring Nukes. That's supposed to be a 3 year stint.

OK, I wasn't going to do this, but this is a good story.

My wife's father grew up around Coeur d'Alene in northern Idaho (yes, the lake with the floating island green). When WWII broke out he and a friend rode a train back to New York where they enlisted in the Navy. He had a college degree in physical education so they made him an officer and sent him to train submarine crews in Lake Pend Oreille in northern Idaho!!! One hour from home! That's where he spent the war. I never knew the navy had a base in that lake. My wife still has relatives that live up there.

Rev, you can tell John that I am a Nuke too; not military but my degree is in nuclear chemistry and I have worked in the nuclear business for 45 years. That's why I told Penny that math and science are fun!
