Project X pvx red shaft?

Roll Tide

Hello everyone. New to the Site and need to ask a question about the shaft above. A friend of mine has this shaft full length uncut and will sell it for next to nothing. I have a 910 D3 and D2 head that I switch a MFT Kal'i 65 stiff between the heads depending on conditions and how I feel that day. Looking for another shaft that is comparable to the Kal'i. I know this is an OEM shaft, but I am wondering if it will hold up to my swing and if anyone has any info on how this shaft performs. Struggled for months with a PX 7C3 and the Ahina. Lost distance and accuracy with both. The Kal'i has fixed this problem with the mid ball flight. Just looking for a second shaft that may be comparable. Any info is appreciated.

Swing speed 108 Quick / harsh transition.

Welcome to the site,

I have the Project X PXv in both red and blue bow. I think the red may launch just a bit higher then the blue but that is just appearance. i bought this shaft for a driver shaft replacement for next to nothing. However, it was too high launching and spinning for my driver so I ended up tipping it and using it as the number 3 shaft in the line up.

The PXv will launch a degree or two higher than the PX and will spin about 300 more rpm.

Thanks for the information. My plan is to have the red tipped and cut down to play 45" in my driver. I think at the price and with the Kal'i 45" and 4.2 torque working this may be a good second shaft. Any others have experience with this shaft?
