Found an par 3 course near my training site I work at so I think I'm gonna play a little after work tomorrow. If its decent should be a good place to at least test the new Hogan wedges out when I get them.

Last year my eye doc said during my exam that I could probably pass my driver's license eye test without my glasses.  I got glasses in 1989 only for driving.  Had to.  Apparently, my eyes have gotten better with age; I have had no surgeries on them.

 

Well, I have to renew my driver's license, so I went in yesterday.  Passed with no glasses... watch out everyone!!  Old man with no glasses coming down the road!

Appendectomy went well today. Was home by noon. I'm up and moving around just fine. No exercise other than walking for 2 weeks then I'll have my post op. I'll likely be out of golf until June. Going to be giving the Evnroll and puttout a workout until then

... Well that is just awesome! There is a lot we take for granted but nothing more than vision. Many of those with good vision really have no idea how lucky they are. I played QB in college and a Grad Student was doing her thesis on superior vision in athletes. Specifically better athletes are blessed with great vision and most don't know it. She was interviewing QB's, good hitters on the baseball team and great shooters in basketball. Everyone she had interviewed got a free eye exam and all tested at least 20/15 for vision. I had no idea my vision was better than 20/20 as that is all any eye chart ever checked in my youth. 

 

... I still have 20/15 vision and can see balls clearly on the green form 250 out BUT as a fellow old man, I cannot read anything in front of my face without reading glasses.
