Tour Exotics 3 wood is in the bag because we are allowed 14 clubs.  It's a great club for pulling balls out of the water or from bushes - you never want to put your hand into anything in Florida unless you are absolutely certain that it's safe.  There are rare wind conditions when I might hit it off the tee on a few holes that I play.

OUCH!!!

Was that on your 120mph swing?

Hate to see that rev, that hurts. I have the email info for the owner of the company that makes the radar. They might be able to repair it for you. I'll PM you his contact info.

On reflection I think I will just order a new one through my Amazon Prime account. This one is mangled. I nailed it for sure. I have some gift cards that I was going to use for balls but instead used my pro shop credit for that.

Funny on the 120 comment, Kenny. When I told my wife that I shattered the radar she asked, “literally or figuratively?” :)

Do you use the dynamic warm up before starting your workouts?

I do Foam Roller exercises where I stretch my back and shoulders 3 ways.  I swing the average club psuedo baseball style to warm up my muscles right before starting the regimen.  If you have suggestions, I am open to anything.

I have been working out the last 6 weeks to lose some weight and strengthen my legs and glutes (stair stepper and squats).  I also have strengthened my arms using free weights and tossing an 8 lb med ball straight up from the chest and sideways into a cement pole.

3 days a week exercising; 3 days for superspeed plus stretches.  My new fear is to make sure I am giving some rest to my muscles for repair/recovery.

No look at the sheet - it was my second swing on the normal green - I hit 119 with the first one and was going to be sure to hit 120 plus on that second one.  I tried to figure out the speed by measuring how far the radar went but it actually hit my neighbors fence so there was no way to figure out how fast it was travelling at that point.  It flew twenty five feet from where I was swinging.

I'm just a klutz - an aggressive one though - I go after these swings with great gusto!  The double steps are fun - even though I was a catcher in college I pitched in High School.  They are really just like pitching from a wind up.  That's what I visualize with them.  Lefty I'm Blake Snell. 🙂

We’ve had questions about other clubs and on the course results. Here was on the range warming up for a quick 9 today.

The 213 was 3 wood off the turf - I think I hit 4 of those with a long of 221 and short of 211. Prior to Suoerspeed I could maybe get 200 on the course with my gamer ball - rarely on the range.

The other shot was 7 iron - I was between 151 and 159 with that. It was 135-145 prior to SuperSpeed.

On the course I played 1 which is 410 with driver and 5 hybrid 2 which is 360 with driver GW - you get the drift.

My teacher came over to me while I was warming up and took the website info off my red stick. He read about Phil and has noticed how much farther I’m hitting it. He wants to give them a try for himself to decide whether or not to incorporate them into his teaching.

Thanks, @revkev . That really helps to see correlation between your SSR numbers and the Swing Caddie, since that's how I'll be measuring, too.

I'm currently one-third of the way through the introductory protocol listed on the website with my DIY sticks. Have seen some really great gains so far. I'm keeping track in a Google Docs Spreadsheet and will have to post my results when I complete the first protocol. By then, I should be nearly able to hit some outdoors as well.

it's very interesting too - I will be three or four miles an hour faster in SS on Swing Caddie in the afternoon after I've completed a protocol.  This was morning after the dynamic warm up.  I have yet to hit 100 mph on Swing Caddie - my fastest speed has been 99 there.  But I know it's just a matter of time.  On the course I'm between 92-97 with the driver - that's average LPGA SS so more than adequate to shoot great scores and a huge uptic from where I was at prior to all of this starting.

Whoops. Have a call out to the company to see about repair. Got a little overhyped on my lefthanded swings, caught the radar with a glancing blow, thankfully.

Those are some great numbers rev! I think your pro would benefit from using the SuperSpeed system, you've definitely shown him that they work. Thank you for putting up your swing caddy numbers to show how much improvement you've seen with clubs other than the driver.
@edingc sorry to hear about the damage to your radar. At least it's a glancing blow and looks like it can be saved. If you Google the company, you can contact Al Dilz about repairing it.
