Saw this on their IG while Crossfield was checking out the booth -- wonder what took them so long. I'm liking the height of my shots with the V1x, probably play it this year and see how it goes, then decide if I want to order more. Do they run the 4 for 3 thing every year?

I'd definitely play the yellow one but I like the AVX just a bit more for my swing speed....

The MGS article does a great job of explaining why it took them so long to come out with a yellow ball for the Pro V line. Do I think it's the whole reason? Of course not. I think Titleist was probably a bit bull headed about doing anything to address the needs of consumers that wanted a yellow ball. Now that other brands are picking up market share, Titleist is worried (IMO).

Couldn't agree more!  If they wanted to they could have done this long ago.  They seem slow to adopt changes and those Pro V1 balls are like the sacred cow.  I wouldn't be surprised at all if they discontinue these if there isn't enough interest.....or golfers consider a yellow PV1 sacreligious! 😉
