Western Birch

Has anyone ever tried Western Birch tees?  They seem interesting and a bit over priced.  An ad for them popped up as I was browsing Instagram.  Not sure what would kind of image would go well on the cup of a tee, but hey, someone out there thought of it.

Never tried them , however I prefer plastic tees. I never break the plastic ones unlike the wooden ones which break with almost every driver swing.

I've actually seen that tee on the course before. I looked at their bulk tee offer with logo on the cup. I was thinking about our First Tee chapter. I could see buying some of these for a promo at a golf tournament, etc. However, day in day out I just use what I find laying around and they are mostly logo plastic tees from my home club. I'm not a fan really of providing free tees at golf courses due to the litter problem. Anyway... I find these birch tees kind of interesting.

Don't ask why this thought never crossed my mind and perhaps it's due to those I play with.  I never have thought about tees as litter.  Broken wooden/bamboo tees probably aren't as bad as plastic ones that get left behind, but I probably should take the extra couple seconds to grab my broken tee and properly dispose of it.

Also, these birch tees may just give me an easy opportunity to ease into my first unofficial forum review.  Shouldn't be too hard to review a tee after all.

I use them, nice quality tees.  I mainly use them because they match my “black, red & white” bag theme.  They are fairly durable for a wood tee.  I can typically get 3 to 5 drives from a tee.  I also like the stripes, the help with consistent tee height.  You can get all of this from other tees, but I like the color mainly

I went ahead and ordered some trees from Western Birch.  Like I said, should be an easy first attempt at an unofficial review.  @dbdors, feel free to chime in when I post it.

And if nothing else, I will be set on tees for A WHILE.  I will explain that in the near future.

I bought the 200 tee set, 4 bags I think.  You can also get them at golf galaxy

After reading these postings I have to order some of these. They look good. I currently use plastic tees but prefer wood tees, always have.

Hmmmm , I haven't even recieved mine yet to start my review and already someone is sold on these.  Maybe I have a new career....

I bought three bags last month for two reasons.  

#1 they look cool 

#2 I want to spend money supporting smaller niche businesses.  

I needed tees and so far, they work great.  No durability issues to speak of thus far.
