Do You Think Learning The Piano Will Help Your Golf Game?

One thing I have wanted to do for the last couple of years is learn to play the piano. I finally decided to buy a keyboard and learn. After taking a few lessons, I thought of something. Do you think that learning piano will help your golf game? I do, and let me tell you why. The amount of hand-eye coordination needed to read music, and play, is ridiculous, and the amount of left hand strength you need is more than you would think. By learning to use your left and right hands more independently, the hand-eye coordination, and the hand strength, I think it will (slightly) help my golf swing. What are your thoughts? Do you play piano? Do you think it helped you?

I don't think it will help. 

I thought playing Guitar Hero would help me learn to play the real guitar, but that didn't workout for me at all lol.

I’ve played drums for over 30 years, guitar for around 20, and I can play a decent amount of piano.

I still suck at golf.

Well, I'm not saying it's magical. I am a 1.2 handicap, so I guess I'm talking about a .2 stroke difference which does matter when you play in competitive tournaments.

The answer's still no. It won't make any noticeable difference in your golf game.

Used to play, but I'm pretty sure playing goalie didn't help me a bit

HAHA. probably not in the way I was thinking, but still had to help some with hand eye coordination, balance, etc.

Intetesting thought, but I tend to think it wont' help much physically either.  Doubt it will do any harm though.

I suppose it could just possibly impact your mental game a bit though.  Either by helping you learn to concentrate.  Or by making you too tired from practicing piano to keep your head together on the course.
